  1. Willock is a better player in my opinion. I'd love to see him back. Williams to me is one of those guys who seem to have all the ability in the world but absolutely no composure near the goal. We have enough of them already.
  2. The fact its 2018 and we still don't have an online ticketing system is nothing short of embarassing. Clubs will be teleporting fans to game before we get rid of paper tickets. The lack of technology undermines all the good work we do to encourage young fans to come to games.
  3. He was full time last year with the development squad so would presume so.
  4. Brutal game and we were well off the pace. Subs improved us, especially Hendry. Millar got the ball down and passed like we know he can. Tommy doesn't rate him now though so no point having him here even if we all disagree. Great goal by Spoony though.
  5. He's a petulant wee fanny. Going absolutely mental at a team mate for giving away a free kick. Yet he was out-jumped by Imrie for their goal. Gordon could easily have laid into him. We need to get rid, he's a rocket. I was amazed County let him go but it all makes sense now.
  6. Foster is a complete fanny. Odds on sending off today.
  7. No idea if it's possible but I would be delighted with a midfield 3 of Davidson, Wotherspoon and Willock next season. The more I see Willock the more I like him. Quick, strong, skilful and those legs get everywhere. I thought he was rubbish when he first came in but he's developed massively in his time here. Would he a great signing and let's face it, he's not displacing Pogba any time soon. Williams also has ability but I think Willock has more potential. Would be happy with either.
  8. Couldn't have asked for a better send off for Macca. In fact, yeah we can, hat-trick please! Legend.
  9. Cheers for that. Sounds superb. Will drop you a message shortly.
  10. Thought we played ok yesterday in spells. Willock was good first half and you can see a player there. Shame it's taken so long for him to get up to speed. I also thought Macca had one of his best games for a while. His touch and link play was much improved and he should have scored 2 goals. Tommy didn't sub him when he tired though? Biggest disappointment aside from the ref was Tommy in the second half. Our players dropped too deep and he left it too long to make a change. Willock was tired and we needed more legs in the middle and he basically made no subs. We were asking to concede. Biggest positive for me was Tanser though. I didn't rate him at the start of the season. He's turning into a superb player. Really strong in the tackle now, great going forward and not much gets passed him. He deserves a 3 year deal.
  11. Cheers Mark, I'll give them a call.
  12. Proud moment today when my 4 year old boy asked me for a St Johnstone room. Over the moon. However, a quick search of the Internet and I'm struggling to find much in the way of bedding/lamp shades etc. Anyone find anything decent for their kids rooms?

    Alan Mannus

Excellent 'keeper for us and a real shame to see him go. Will go down as a cup winning legend and was vital in our Euro campaigns. Feels like we're gearing up for a big summer.
  14. Not the best game but a decent enough performance.
  15. Felt a little like a pre season friendly at times. 1st half both teams cancelled each other out and it was very much a physical battle which our 3 central defenders won well against Main and Bowman. Motherwell didn't have a sniff but the standard was poor. The only two pieces of quality came from Williams with two excellent passes, one for Macca which he didnt connect with and another marginal offside for Kane. He clearly has quality in his locker and would be a good addition to Saints. Second half was much better. We used our shape more and got into great positions through Tanser on the left who absolutely terrorised their fullback. Another fine performance from Tanser. When you compare him to Foster on the other side its night and day. Speaking of Foster, he really is a bit of a t***. He's that guy in 5s who everyone hates because he moans at EVERYONE for the tiniest mistake. The abuse he gave Williams for one bad pass was just ludicrous. A real bad egg. Other notable performance, the 3 central defenders all played well and Spoony was solid and passed quite well though should have scored. Williams shows glimpses of quality when you get him on the ball too. All in, a decent enough performance against a lacklustre 'well. We still have problems up top though and if we want to get the best out of Tanser and his crosses we need a striker with presence who can attack a cross.
  16. Alston works hard. Defensively not very good though and so often lacks a final ball. When he plays on the right Id have liked to see him cut inside more - he seemed to always want to hit the touchline but didn't have the pace in him and would look for a corner. Ultimately, not good enough to push us to top six. Probably good enough to keep us where we are though - depends where the ambitions lie with the chairman and manager.
  17. Frustrating we're so shite against Aberdeen. Saying that, we keep trying a back 3 against them when you really need to pack the midfield and double up on the wings.
  18. We played well overall. Really enjoyed Kane's performance though. He absolutley rag-dolled those two central defenders all game. He actually looks for the hits now and wins lots more headers than you'd expect. Add that to the fact his touch is better and his hold up play much improved he's close to being a very very good player. Just needs to tidy up his shooting a little and we're onto a winner.
  19. Not going to say I enjoyed it at the time but will do when I watch it back. When you are a man up for so long and a goal down the pressure watching it is incredible so imagine how the players feel? That's why I was so happy how patient we were. Never once did we resort to punting it, even with 3 strikers on. Williams was a great substitution and looks a real talented player. Tanser despite being poor in the tackle a couple of times gave a great outlet down the left and was so unlucky with his free kick again. Kane again missed some of his easier chances but a hell of a goal we scored, great build up play and a top top finish. His overall games improved so much lately, bullying defenders and his holdup and link play is now coming on. Glad we're showing faith in him.
  20. Could feel it in my bones we'd win today. Just knew it. Fantastic result. Superb.
  21. Not many positives from that game. Improved when Spoony came on. Midfield never laid a glove on them all game and Willock was brutal. Mannus had a stinker too. Ando can't play against Morelos. He gets too tight and they just lift it in behind him. Way too easy. I left when they started singing God Save the Queen. Bad enough watching that performance without listening to that rubbish too.
  22. Enjoyable game. Ando was immense but I have to credit Kerr too who absolutely strolled it. Calm, composed, dominant. Very mature defender. In Midfield Millar gave a platform for Davidson to be his marauding best. Won every tackle and drove at county all day. Amazing display. Up top better link play from Macca and Kane was very good, powerful and played a great reverse for Muzz and the second goal. There were spells in the game where we actually passed it and put some nice moves together, shows we are capable. As for County? Terrible.
  23. I don't agree. We went through a spell offering extensions to players based on appearances and certain players should have been moved on to freshen up the team. We've gone stale and the manager watched it happen. Our style of play got worse and age of team got older. We all seen it coming, perhaps not so quickly but it was on the cards.
  24. I'm not one to jump the gun but cant deny I'm seriously concerned. We can't even score at the moment never mind win. Tommy is struggling but he deserves the chance to keep us up. If we go down we go down. I actually quite enjoy division one, I just hate watching us fall apart en route.
  25. Hmmm. Been a long time since we've experienced this feeling as Saints fans but we've been here before. Time the players kicked on now and learned how to scrap because like it or not we are in the dog fight now.
