FC Luzern fans will feel hard done by after dominating most of the game but that's football! If you can't put the ball into the net....think we deserved a bit of luck after we were robbed against Minsk! (yes, I'm still hurting from that night!)
 
The pre-match build up at the Tulloch was fantastic and was great to see both sets of fans enjoying a beer together without any trouble! Really have to give their fans some credit, supported their team for the entire 120 minutes and were without a doubt, the best away support I've ever seen at McD. All the best for their season!
 
Anyway, bring on the Slovakians next week! COYS!

Okay guys, after a week of bribing the missus, I'm in: San Francisco to Edinburgh via Heathrow. I'll be getting in Thursday night and heading back on the Monday.
 
I figure the $1400 ticket is about what I've saved in season tickets over the past few years, but there's no way I'd miss this.

Tickets..... The club have confirmed we can do a block booking. I am happy to arrange this for anyone interested. Details will be published tomorrow from the club, but I will arrange tickets in the cheapest area when they go on sale. Much like the bus, you will need to transfer money to me up front before they go on sale so I can buy them on Friday. Other friends not on the bus can also get a ticket with us, but will have to pay. You don't have to get your ticket this way, you can get your own, but if you want to be part of the block booking, tell your mates, and get the money ready to transfer to me later this week.

Quite clear that the two sets of players really don't like each other. Now I'm not one to point the finger, but I'm blaming Paddy Cregg. That man hates the Shed.

That was bloody brilliant so it was.

Also holding off until b4 tickets get released! No way am I sitting down in the corner section! Let's hope those few tickets remaining for that section get shifted
 
If I'm honest I've been humming and hawing about attending the game since it's a bit of a ball ache with travel but more due to the dismal display against the Dons in the League semi, which seems not that long ago! Yes, there have been many semi final disappointments following the Saints over the last few years but just imagine the scenes on Sunday when we reach our first Scottish cup final    All of those semi-final wounds will be healed: If you can, get to the game on Sunday!!! Aberdeen are by no means unbeatable and we may well just do it! Come on you saints fans, get behind the team for the biggest game of the season!!!! COYS!!!

I remember a few saints players in full song at a player of the year do at the Moncrieffe a few years back, songs that included "In yer Dundee slums" "We hate Dundee" etc...... Nobody gave a shoite then and as far as i remember nobody thought it was disgraceful either. Or when we won the 1st division at Muirton fans,players and officials singing "Ayr Ayr f**k yer Ayr" from the mainstand. I hate the thumb heided fool like many others but i wont slate him for singing in a pub along with his mates and other fans of the club he actually supports,its no as if he was spewing out bigot pish or thigs about past disasters (Ive heard horrid songs about Hillsbourgh and the likes} thats a major no no

Best thing about the day was the banter in the Pol beforehand...Quick summary: Didn't think we deserved to lose by 4 goals but to give Aberdeen credit, they took their chances and we didn't, end of. Too many silly mistakes made which simply cost us, guess that' football. On a side note I had a delicious pizza hut to cheer me up and am now tucked up in bed when I should be out celebrating with the Perth saintees, ach well there's still the Scottish Cup eh....night all!

First post in a while on here: absolutely buzzing for tomorrow's game! Last time I was this excited was for the Europa League games 6 months ago! Will try to however, be on my best behaviour and not storm the Tynecastle pitch again Saying that, I might be tempted to after another last minute winner  See you Edinburgh boys at the Pol tomorrow for a beer or two and a sing song! Lets get behind all 11 players even when the game isn't going our way, COYS!!

Can't wait for the Roseburn Stand to be decked out in upside down Aberdeen flags!

Edinburgh Saints will again be organising a bus for this one. The 33 from Princes street at a cost of £1.50 each.

With St Johnstone reaching the semi-final after defeating Morton 1-0 on Wednesday, the build up to the game against Aberdeen on either the 1st or 2nd of February commences.

The match is likely to be played at Easter Road, home of Hibs. Realistically, 5000 of our supporters in attendance wouldn't be all that bad, nothing compared to Aberdeen, but that is expected. Anyway, we hope that our atmosphere on the day can be electric in order to drown out the larger Aberdeen support. 

The drum, along with many flags and banners will be in attendance for sure. However, at this early stage, we are also looking into the possibility of a card display for the start of the game, which will hopefully be impressive and add to the atmosphere. Now, these displays don't come free, so therefore a donations page will hopefully be up and running soon. 

At this time, anyone with any suggestions as to what the display should say, please comment below. If you would like to get involved, or know anyone with experience in this area, please send a message.

I thought the smoke bombs were a feeble waste of time. More like tens guys smoking at the same time. It looked like wee boys trying to be men.

What I would do though us congratulate the guys in that area for the atmosphere they kept going with their signing etc. they have to take the credit for getting the whole stadium going. It's ironic though that they got a much better atmosphere when they forgot about the smoke bombs. I was never worried about any of these guys going on the pitch because I am sure most of them are genuine Saints fans. Young, daft and maybe a bit stupid but Saints fans.

Oh an what is it about a certain generation that they all think they have to walk like Liam Gallagher? That clown on the park really was a feeble excuse for the hard man he fancied himself as.

Please put things into perspective. The boy who ran on at the end was papped out and will probably get a season ban, and rightly so. It was in the top 5 home results in our history so 2 or 3 people going over the wall is hardly the end of the world.
 
The smoke bomb causes no danger to fellow supporters, so grown men calling for over exuberant young lads to be banned for life is frankly pathetic. Were you never young yourself? Have you never done something at the football that the old moany b****** side of our support frowned upon?
 
Most of you lot were likely around in the 70's and 80's so get down from your pedastal and focus on the result.
 
100% guarantee UEFA will see no wrongdoing in the events at the ground and we'll happily march on to Minsk.

Great night last night folks. Well done and thanks to Marc for organising the bus (I am sure that he will do just as good a job for the Minsk game)

Bus would be circa £150 for a 15 seater with cost being split, does that work for everyone? Also, would leaving at 4.30 be an issue? Means we'd still miss traffic.
