The Inspiration
Kevin Bridges, fantastic fringe show this year and is getting bigger and bigger. Bruce Fummey, well known to a lot on here and definately worth seeing a show of his
Mike
My favourite 3 comedians... Mitch Hedberg - Totally original and brilliant. He suffered from stage fright so his delivery is really nervous but it makes his material even funnier. He died in 2005, R.I.P. Demetri Martin - Stupidly clever observational stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IbhWG2LLAA&feature=related Stewart Lee - The greatest stand up of all time, totally in a league of his own. I saw him in February on his latest tour. Utter genius. Don't know how to embed videos, sorry.

myDarlingBeefeater
What did everyone think of the Geordie guy who supported Bridges at the Concert hall a few weeks back? He was good. Kinda slow start but really built up into belly laughs. His stuff on swearing was classic. Kevin Bridges himself was amazing too. Possibly my favorite live comedy show. StDuncM
Brilliant in his day, which sadly is long gone, and he is lesser known now by many on here I would think. Stand up boyos for the one and only Max Boyce. who was actually on TV last night Oggy oggy oggy! The Great Paddy Buckley
Ronaldo
A lot of the comedians mentioned are great like Kevin Bridges. I often see Jackie Mason but he is lesser known because he's more U.S. based but is very good at holding his audience and works comfortably with all age groups. . Here he is at Oxford for some reason -Part 1 Part

Guest The Great Paddy Buckley
Roy Chubby Brown; Filthy, funny, clever and articulate. He will not be appearing on TV anytime soon. Bill Hicks. Legend Chic Murray; Not really known down here in Ingerland. Just looking at him makes me laugh. Years ahead of his time as an anarchic alternative comedian. Clearly a huge influence to Billy Connolly as the Big Yin would readily accept.
