Broon
Starting to actually enjoy watching Saints again. What a difference when we keep it down and have TWO strikers actually wanting the ball short. I never used to understand why we didn't pass the ball into the strikers feet and always went in head height. All the big clubs in the world use this tactic. Rooney, Berbatov, Drogba, Anelka, Torres etc etc etc ALL come short fo the ball to feet then turn and attack with the midfield in support. A few players are deserving of real praise after the last few weeks. Stevie May is obviously one - his ability to find a yard of space in the box is something that you simply cannot teach. I'm excited about what he could do in the game and we really need to think about a longer term contract. It's probably better he didn't get a hat-trick last night. Sammy also deserves great credit. His link play at times was outstanding and his strength and awareness to setup may in the box twice was superb. This is the makings of a good partnership. In Midfield Davidson has matured this season and is picking the right tackles every single time. His timing is better than any midfielder in the league and his touch and passing are improving with every game. On the right side Chris Millar has also added to his game. A couple of times last night he swivelled into attacking positions in areas where he would normally protect the ball. We got a goal from one of them last night and he has to keep that up - he's a very skillful player. At the back Ando is turning into a class act. Positioning is superb and a few last ditch tackles - he's earning those clean sheets next to Doobs. And finally, 'the keeper'. I've not been as confident in a 'keeper for a long time at Saints. He had a difficult job last night. Corners were put right on top of him whilst having 2 or 3 big Hamilton players in his face every time. Chose when to punch and when to catch and did superbly well. The defenders show real confidence in him and it shows - 5 clean sheets in 7. Kicking the ball on this surface must be a heart in mouth moment for all keepers but in general he does it well enough. Very good signing.
Bruno Strasser
An excellent result and good performances put in by all the players. Delighted for May - hope he can keep hos feet on the ground.

Yeah, they mentioned last night that their super-dooper High Definition footage of the mighty Celtic would be on the website by midnight but it would take their animations department a while to sculpt a new Stevie May plasticine figure for the Saints coverage which should be on by the end of the week. Jamie_Beatson
Thought it was an infinitely better performance than the Motherwell and St Mirren games, for example. Great to get an early goal and set the tone, although the game was a bit flat until half time. That said, in the second half we played some excellent stuff, with May close to getting a second before he actually did. He really should have had a hat trick, but was denied by a few good saves by Cerny. Need to carry that level of performance into Saturday's game! Widge
If that footage is HD, then we are all truley ****ed, its still shocking. Can almost garuntee we will have to wait until 6 tomorrow for the rest of the highlights, even though the BBC had all day to do ours. Maybe we were playing a higher level of team and therefore couldnt dominate in quite the same manner.

Sorry, out of order you were at the games and would note/see the higher performance. I managed to catch Hearts match on stream though. Hearts were good. squiddy
Was just reading Sammy's bit about praising May. As usual the BBC detail when interviewing non OF teams are shocking. It would be nice if they put a proper journalist on it instead of 'dave' the work experience lad.

BlueJ
Two 'goal scorers' goals. Not quite the tap in for the first some of the media said. Surprised Craig hasn't been praised for his part in the second goal. Lovely little pass through to Maybury.
