ancientsaint
Can i bid for auction items over the phone ?????????????????????????? Just wonder if GB would place the auction items on here and anyone that is interested (and who cannot be there on the night) can PM their maximum bid for said item (s) - thereby saving them a hefty mobile phone bill. ancientsaint
I assume that folk who purchase a "curry/race"night ticket will also be given the first option to purchase a ticket for the "adult " comedy night in December (barring the kids obviously) ? Ginger Bakers rebel army
If anyone still needs tickets but can't get into barossa ST to pick them up before the 16TH just let one of the committee know by PM and we will leave tickets for you at the door to be paid on the night. We do however need to get a pretty good handle on the finalise numbers so booking please by Sunday at the latest. Teamwork
still no definitive answer on the the phone bidding question Gus !!! what are the auction items by the way ??
Tranmere Saintee
still no definitive answer on the the phone bidding question Gus !!! what are the auction items by the way ?? Gus was supposed to be answering this, but briefly what they hope to do is give each of the items to an individual committee person and you can pm them (to keep your bid secret) your top level bid and they will bid on your behalf. Items still to be confirmed, but include a team shirt from Del, an old photo of the original St Johnstone team in their cricket gear (very rare item) and possibly a very speciually signed shirt - all details will be confirmed asap by Gus (or else). Ginger Bakers rebel army
114 tickets sold, saints club will be buzzing on Friday night.Still waiting to hear from one or two groups so 114 could increase yet. Thats a big number for a Friday night so thanks to everyone that has bought a ticket. The club are putting on a wee saintees cocktail on Friday with all the bar takings from the sale of the cocktail going to our fund. The first one to correctly guess the ingredients will have one purchased for them on Friday night as long as you are of legal drinking age that is! HOODLUM65
Great night. well done to everyone who attended and to all the committee for their hard work.. Thanks to all the committee for making this a most enjoyable and fun night. Congrats to Beth for her £50 WIN on the raffle. And as the owner of the winner in race 7, I won a bottle of spirits. Needless to say all the people in my company also won on my horse. One person in my company backed 5 winners out of the 8 races. Oh I almost forgot, as the highest bidder at £40, secured 365 cans of Irn Bru. At less than 11p a can this was most welcome. Believe this has been put up by "wish I was Joe McGurn" Many thanks Scottie, your mum should be proud of you. Looking forward to the next one. ps Many thanks to Odesi for the food and your sponsorship. Great night looking forward to the next one.
