cjw
Rangers turn down 7 million for him!! Another Kriss Boyd. Good up here, found out down there. Rubbish!!
ancientsaint
£7 million to Rangers and £12m to Mr Whytes dog in an offshore account should swing it.
ex-montrosesaintee
When they go into administration they should be forced to accept 10p in the pound for him for being so arrogant, and pass it straight onto the taxman.
dan loves saints
7million /9 million no more then that.
ryangordon86
I agree, 7/9 mil is about right. Around £800k. That's all a non of team would get
SingaporeSaint
Must be daft not accepting the 7 million
Scobby_SJFC
Must be daft not accepting the 7 million Not really if he was playing in the Champiosnhip he should easily command and 8 or 9 million pound transfer but because he is in Scotland people take advantage of us. We always undersell out players to clubs down south Hardly ever said this but well done Rangers for not being bullied by teams down south

MySpazz
Must be daft not accepting the 7 million I agree. To get anything in transfer fees is a coup. The English Championship is not a wealthy division. I should think West Ham have a bit of cash from an EPL parachute payment (meaning they are on a par with the EPL), all the while confident of promotion. So how much is he worth? As much as you can get for him! One thing: I hope he flounders down south...as his home country meets Scotland in WC Quals starting Sept. Super Saint
7 million. Unreal lads. Based on the £300k for Sandy, is he really 23.333 times better? No convinced at all by him. Another Kris Boyds. Couldnae score against decent players and goalies.
SlickDT
I personally think £7m for Jelavic is a great offer, I'm not too convinced he'd bag many goals in the Premiership.
ODAB
He's worth whatever the highest bidder is prepared to offer.

Norsaint
Could it be that they turned it down thinking that if they lose the tax case the £7m would be grabbed by the IR so they may as well keep the player in the meantime and hope he can help them keep in touch with Celtic? ancientsaint
If they get it -they MIGHT just buy Fran Sandaza bfore the window closes -leaving Saints with no time for a replacement .
ryangordon86
I read a couple of years ago that the Championship was something like the 4th wealthiest in terms of revenue in Europe!

Guest Harry Curran's Love child
Going by Liverppol paying £35m for Andy Carroll, and looking at it from a goals to games ratio................. Jelavic is worth about £18 Billion pounds.

Guest Harry Curran's Love child
AC aint playing against Dunfermline, Caley, Hibs etc etc with the referee on his side every week I reduced the figure accordingly (by about 3/4 to compensate for the difference in quality)
