I thought he looked a bit easy osey when he came on today, hardly challenging for headers etc, and we lost a bit of intensity up front, but in previous weeks he was excellent. I think the four quotes are the priority. Watt will probably wait to decide his future, and shouldn't be a huge issue renewing Gordon. Talk on Twitter of saints in talks with a decent forward player, don’t know if truth or just a bit of banter, maybe ohalleron heading back here, or maybe too obvious a link Watt is decent and must have been discussed, needs a goal but link up play is great. I still think longer term we need cover for a central ball playing midfielder. Liam Craig is doing a terrific job in there but if he gets injured we are really struggling given Davidson's injury history. I suspect any transfer activity will be heavily dependent on who moves on - if anyone. I'm just hoping there are no bad surprises.... I can see us signing someone in that area though. Like you, I don't feel the need to sign anyone is as pressing as previous January windows. I wouldn't be against us bringing in a young centre mid for a small fee and on a long contract to see if they'll develop into the Chris Millar/Liam Craig role. We're under no pressure in the league - given where we are I doubt we'll finish below 8th even if we do collapse - so now is the time to do that if we're in any way inclined to.
