SaintDinky 44 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Dave Mackay put in a solid shift as always. As for the rest... Pawlett was decent... And other than that I'll stick to the old adage "if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all" or I'll be here all night!!!

The Real Saints 888 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Liam Craig. Just because he scored and looked a bit better than mediocre in the first half. 1 HOODLUM65 reacted to this

One Goran Stanic 68 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Wright. He played well enough. Won some headers, done some tackles. Would have been tempted for Pawlett but for his dive. Pathetic.
sign dave 32 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Wright did well, he done his job by keeping a clean sheet (as did the other defenders) but Pawlett stuck out for me, one of very few players fighting for the ball and had energy throughout the game. Had Nigel been goven more game time, he could have made better things of the game.
Abernethy Saint 3,083 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 My Dundee supporting pal who wanted more than anything to spend his day off in front of the fire, but because his misguided daughter bought him entry to the game for Xmas had to drive down and expose his arthritic bones to that nonsense. Kudos, pal, and I hope you stay up.

Kirriesaint 8 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Voted for Dave Mackay with Pawlett a close second, poor performance but 3 points,we've played far better this season and failed to win so will enjoy the win against a poor Dundee team

Broon 1,272 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Pawlett looked like a man after a contract. Very committed. A little unlucky not to get a pen and created the goal challenging the keeper. Some good runs too.
andrew 614 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Pawlett, I thought, had about his worst game for us, failing repeatedly to take anyone on and put in a cross. Vine, on the other hand, showed some great touches and was involved in much of what we did that was any good. Edited January 2, 2013 by andrew
ajs 132 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Wright or Craig, a few players who were Good but didnt really create anything, Pawlett could have had a really good game if he just hit the ball past easton and took him on more, that goes with any Left back, Mannus was solid again but his kicking was awful, not as bad as Douglas though, think the wind didnt help, with the goalies and the game, Saints out ball is a dink up the line to tade, this couldnt have worked today especially in the 1st half with the wind, this is one of the factors why we were poor, Went for Craig
SaintSam1884 695 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 I thought a few individuals did ok but as a team what they produced today was an insult to the fans. MacKay, Vine, Muzz and Pawlett did alright. Nobody deserves a man of the match vote. The idea is not to vote for the least shite. It should be a show stopping performance that earns this accolade and nobody produced that.
