Not til the final. Word is, in future officials from countries like Scotland that don’t do VAR won’t get to ref international and club games that do. On Saturday a Leeds player was fouled twice in the box but fought to stay on his feet and get his shot away - no penalty. On the same day a Man City player feels minimal contact and does a dive that Tom Daley would have envied - penalty! VAR? You would think that in the intervening years he would have gained experience and upped his game. Gave a penalty to Celtic when the ball bounced off the chest of the Hibs player and then struck the arm of the same player. Thought the rules were No penalty in such a situation! Celtic catching up with Sevco in the number of penalties awarded in their favour Why was the choice of Referee Bobby Madden changed to Willie Collum at short notice. Perhaps isolating?
