Never did make it back to the Times after putting the bairns to bed, sorry AS good to meet you in the flesh though.

BC, it was sort of tailing off not long after you guys left. Was good to meet you and your family in person. I am sure we will have another Saints occasion to meet up. .

back in sunny east Yorkshire where I have to hide my happiness because all friends and neighbours are down in the dumps about the Tigers losing yesterday.

Fantastic occasion. Never ever thought I'd see the likes of 15000 Saints fans in one place together like that. The coordinated stuff worked a treat, much better than I thought it would. Shame the bloody racket from the tannoys was still going but we drowned it out anyway.

Great meeting loads of people. It's odd that I will certainly have seen and perhaps even spoken to people I know from this forum, without realising who they were.

Thanks to every single one of you who shared that adventure....

Missed you/ByeByeDundee... was in Times Square pub with brother/friends, had glory hunter badge on, spoke to a few folk but no expats that I recall (hazy though)

Texas flag came out a few times during game and at the end but mainly too busy twirling scarf and screaming like a banshee....

I'll be over for Europe match.

Back home in sunny Warsaw now. What a trip for myself and my family.

My little daughter managed to see Saints bring home the cup in the company of the grandparents she sees all too rarely. An absolutely magic couple of days for all of us.

As an aside, my uncle (who is in his 70's) confessed that he did something at the final whistle that he had never done before - hug his brother.  I feel sorry for those who have no interest in football and never get to sample these simple joys.

Thanks to Tommy Wright, the Brown's, the players and the staff and thanks to all of the rest of the supporters. The memories that I have will last for ever.

Back home to Luton and it is only really beginning to sink in. Lots of congratulations from friends and colleagues down here. Even some non football fans said they watched it because I had been on at them for ages about what I was doing at the weekend!

I had a great weekend, but honestly can say I didn't enjoy the game, it meant so much to me I was so nervous!

Please can we do it again so that I can enjoy it next time!?

They came from Far and they came from Wide,

With hope in their hearts they supported their side.

The Saintees had got there, a Scottish Cup Final at last,

Our Semi Final hoodoo gone, consigned to the past.

We dared to believe, we dared to dream of lifting that pot,

We'd known nothing like it, a Challenge Cup was as good as it got.

As the first half was ending Ando popped one in with his head,

Was this our time for glory, Saints fans collectively said.

As the game reached its end, it was starting to rain,

The Saintees made it two from the boot of MacLean.

Three minutes added, the cup is ours now,

Every Saints fan wipes sweat from their brow.

All the boys in Blue and White,

Give us a reason to party all night.

I'm terrible at poetry but there you have it!

SLF tried poetry, his first time for that,

It sounded like he was strangling a cat.

From Letham to Craigie we all love the Saints,

Just the thought of Stevie May gives us all the faints.

He's the King of McDiarmid, goalscoring machine,

He makes all Perth girls dream of flicking their bean.

Tattoos and big hair are all the rage,

Whem oor local hero takes centre stage.

He's ably supported by Stevie Maclean,

To play against them must be a pain.

Our back four are heroes, each one of them,

More heart than you'll find in any lions den.

The midfield do battle, win every ball,

And make our supporters feel 100ft tall.

Behind them all, stands a big man in goal,

Alan Mannus we call him, rock solid like coal.
