Kinnoull Kicker
On BBC that Peterborough sold striker to forest for 6.5m. Odds that they now enter fray for our man? Odds that they still look to pay over 20yrs!?
rik2304
Now it seems, according to SSN that the only confirmed offer is Rotherham. According to Ebeneezer Brown.
RandomGuy
And Steve Brown suddenly reappears to issue a public statement, which wipes out all the growing optimism and throws everyone straight back into a mire of confusion. ****ing hell. Hardolez21
I would like to think I have come across well so far, but those bitter saints fans, look at the above post. We now know we are the only team to have spoken to May, and it will be sorted on Friday. Yes he still may go to Wednesday, but my money's on us

We now know we are the only team to have spoken to May, and it will be sorted on Friday. Yes he still may go to Wednesday, but my money's on us can't wait to see him in a Millers shirt! Our manager came out today saying Sheffield Wednesday had agreed a fee, its a strange situation to be in, but I'm more prone to believe him than our chairman, who's been lying to us for the entire Summer and only reappears to announce negative news

millerman
I must admit, after this week, I wish we'd gone for someone else. I have never known such a transfer fiasco like this one. At the end of the day, Stevie May will go where he wants, and I'm getting past the point of caring, whatever the outcome. Good luck in Europe by the way. RandomGuy
If its true that Steve Brown has told Sky that only Rotherham have made an offer, then TW should be having serious thoughts about packing it in. He's been made to look like an utter c**t all Summer by his chairman, started with TW saying he'd be allowed to make signings then a few days later Brown coming out saying no signings would be made, the whole Goodwillie trial scenario, and now this, the same day TW is int eh papers saying he's been told Sheffield Wednesday have had a bid accepted Brown seemingly tells the biggest sports broadcaster that they haven't even contacted him essexsaint

Wouldn't believe that tbh. Sky Sports news is notoriously shite at covering Scottish football. STV (who are excellent and on the ball) as well as both our manager and Wednesdays have confirmed a bid. I'm sure Mandaric confirmed earlier on they'd made a bid also. Not saying he won't go to Rotherham, but I'm not sure if what SSN are fining is up to date. dunkeldneil
If Stevie goes especially for peanuts we will be a diddy team again struggling to score goals why would tommy wright want to stay at saints who would of thought just couple of months ago we won the Scottish cup Stevie and tommy should of been given a big contract straight after that Dave H

Everything we touch this summer seems to turn to farce. Apologies for dragging your club into it, but has kind of summed up our entire pre-season. pete1967
I thougt eb brown had told rotherham to come back with a 800k bid and he would accept it obviously they havent and now the two sheffield clubs have come into the fray makes you wonder if we are going to accept a bid of less than 800k then plead poverty to tw for a replacement saintee in exile
dunkeldneil
Wonder if we will ever have a great player like Stevie may again..sure we have some good players at the moment but someone who will score 28 goals especially at a young age i can imagine in afew years he will be worth a few million all we are selling him for is 800.
Cagey
My worry is that SB has already done a deal with Rotherham & been allowed to keep May for Thursday. I am bringing this back. SB has sold us down the river. Is he trying to destroy this team & its spirit ?.
dunkeldneil
Bet if Stevie goes still no new funds he will be the 6th player to leave past couple months
dunkeldneil
If he goes all the team spirit will be lost like tommy wright said we need Stevie may i thought we could keep him one or two more seasons get £2 million for him then it wouldn't be so bad

dunblanemike
my goodness, some saints fans are really working themselves up into a tizzy :-) One has even accused our chairman of lying. How can he lie when he hasn't said anything? stick to the pre-season word association thingy in chit chat - it'll be better for your health..... I don't understand the flak the millermen are getting either. Kyle, garydavidson, mainstand and 2 others
pete1967
Looks like stevies actually wanting to stay and continue to play for saints but our chairman is trying to punt him to the lowest bidder
Cebuman
dunblanemike I don't understand the flak the millermen are getting either. well said neither do I !! I can understand fans being upset to lose Stevie May If he indeed he does go, but it's hardly the fault of the Millers Fans if he does join RUFC is it !!
