RandomGuy
Been looking at the top scorers in the Championship for possible replacements. Rory Loy sticks out with his 20 goals, but theres a young lad who scored 10 goals in 15 starts for one of the poorer teams, cannot remember his name though ex-montrosesaintee
The ghost of Jim Morton
Has any other Saints player became a legend in the space of 12 months? 12 years from now he comes back to finish his illustrious career with his boyhood club. We can but dream. YES.....The entire team from last season are legends, not just Stevie May. The team won the Scottish cup burnsandi, tony_polster, Dave H and 1 other

RandomGuy
being commented on twitter that Stevie has a release clause in his contract of £750k If true, it blows a few doubts around SB away, if true he's done fantastically well to get us over that amount with additional fees and clauses included
Dave H
If it is true that he is moving to Wednesday.. Scotland finest talent has now got lost in the lower English leagues. Distinct lack of ambition shown by the player and would appear ill advised. Poor lad. I can't see Wednesday being a stepping stone to anything... millerkev
RandomGuy
Well Chris Maguire went down there after being highly rated at Aberdeen and.... em, well Rhys McCabe went there after being highly rated by Rangers and...em... saint-johns-toun
Striker Stevie May will have a medical tomorrow ahead of a move to Sheffield Wednesday, report BBC this evening. Likely to sign a four-year deal at Hillsborough, with Saints netting an initial fee of £800,000, with add-ons taking it to potentially over £1 million. rik2304

PerthSeany
do you not mean the major shareholder I don't think Steve Brown owns any shares. Do they still not belong to his father?

RandomGuy
The whole point of release clauses is that other clubs do know about them. PauloPerth
I see newcastle will get £2m of the Fraser Forster fee.. MarkOwl
Not come to rub it in to yous or the millers fans, but absolutely delighted were potentially signing him. Hopefully he can continue to progress and be as good for us as he was for you! Will be looking at SJ's results throughout the season, good luck to all of you. nickyg
Pleased Stevie looks like he's going to Wednesday, always had a bit of a soft spot for the Owls. However very sad about him going will remember his performances last season with great pleasure was a joy to watch at times. I for one wish him all the best and will be keeping a close eye on his progress. But no one man is bigger than thr club, let's hope Tommy gets the chance to bring in a couple of guys to strengthen the squad, wish Adam Morgan all thr best and get right behind the guys this season. Time to move on and let's try and nip the negativity in the bud and enjoy supporting this great club of ours. Proud to be a Saints fan and to Stevie, thanks for some amazing memories Coltrane, Taximark and dave mc

Saintdunc
Well, I am in the fortunate position of having a old mate who gets free tickets because he works for The Owls main sponsor so I shall, for a few weeks anyway, be following the introduction of Stevie to English football. Also do you know that Wednesday were spawned from a cricket club which, if I am not mistaken, the mighty Saints started out as. I just have this uneasy feeling about the longevity of the current manager who, when the going gets tough, will get punted. He is no more likely to be play for Scotland here than if he was at Saints.
