saintgscot
Feel sorry for the saints fans at game when we win. Just heard on the radio that there over 100 riot police at the game. Outnumber the saints fans. Alan Preston then said don't think they know what type of club saints are but over the top. Then they found out the riot police for spartan fans in case it goes wrong. Havana Saint
They were fined for racist chanting in the first qualifying round and judging by the advertising this evening, they must have an element of right wing tendencies.

Pelosi
The riot police may have been needed if Saints had done the business and won....if only to keep the Spartak and Saints fans apart...would'nt have expected trouble, but it only takes one! Born2Bru
There was no trouble there tonight, although it was a bit scary to be escorted in by police cars past all these riot police. Fans were fine and wanted to swop scarves and it was all good-natured. It was a bit funny to see all the precautions and then both sets of fans mingling to together in the beer(!!) and food queuesas ewell as the toilets. 541ntees and trnavcan

Gordon Drummonds Perm
3 SpartakTrnava hooligans came into the pub we were in before the game. They were looking for a ruck but after some gentle persuasion and top swapping they were Ok. 2 fans who made their own way to the game had to give up their saints tops outside the stadium by a large group of Slovakians. Flag was stolen off the bus when it arrived at the stadium and someone's scarf was stolen walking from the bus to stadium that was about a 5 metre walk :-)

Someone is needing to send the United Nations and the EU a map of Europe. The Geographical centre of Europe is a few km NORTH of Vilnius, Lithuania. Which is EAST of Slovakia. Ask anyone who lives in ANY of the countries between Czech Republic and Ukraine and they will tell you they live in CENTRAL Europe. I went out for several years with a lovely lady (who I temporally turned into a Saintee ) from Kiev, Ukraine, CENTRAL Europe (as she made a point of telling me.
