Cagerf
Hi Not Inverurie but you just have to learn bus and train timetables and plan games. Some are impractical due to being to difficult to fit in but then every game you see is more precious. COYS
pitsjfc
Portlethen now no that far from inverurie, Aberdeen an train doon
XxLeahSaintxX
I stay in Aberdeen and I'm a season ticket holder. Inverurie by train is only an extra 20/25 minutes. It is do-able.

Saintdunc
There used to be a Saintee from Inverurie who was here but not sure how long he has been away.

sainties sheep
A Westhill Saintie (16 miles south east of Inverurie, 8 miles west of Aberdeen) Hey, we're slowly spreading and taking over the world.
ejksjfc
Not that it is of any use to you now but my dads family were from Inverurie (stretching out to such places as Rothienorman, Oldmeldrum and Rhynie) . I did have a slightly nervous time in the 1980's when I started seeing W. Knowles (Inverurie) listed as the referee at games thinking he might be related to me. I found out eventually there were no family ties although he did live next door to my aunt.

Chuchter
I drive down with my better half most home games, but maybe we could get a (mini)bus together with all these north east saintees! Speaking of buses, I have taken the megabus from Aberdeen to the Broxden park and ride on a few saturdays so that's doable too (and cheaper). GranitecitySaint
Mini bus from aberdeen would be great if we could get good numbers consistently.
XxLeahSaintxX
Mini bus sounds like a great idea! The walk to Broxden in the pissing rain isn't so great...
GranitecitySaint
It looks like you can get mini buses as small as 8. Must be a mini mini bus. If there is genuine interest then it would be good to try this out this season or start of next season. When I'm not going with a mate from glasgow or my gf then I usually just go on my own Chuchter and XxLeahSaintxX

Chuchter
Ok, so It's probably a little late in the week for Chris Iweliimbo to learn to drive for Saturday.... Maybe the Dundee game on Sat 11th April would be more reasonable to give an Aberdeen ((mini) mini) bus a go. I'll start a new thread shortly with details and to see if there's enough interest to fill some seats!
