I have been saying all season that man utd would win te leauge and we showed wot utd can do with only 1 fit striker by beating bolton 4-1 plus alan smith is bk now so that two striker now. But you're still needing to buy a couple of defenders. Neville always seems to be injured, Silvestre is injured and is absolute gubbins, Heinze has been kamikaze recently, Brown is hit and miss and Ferdinand is too laid-back. And you'll need a striker or two. ferdinand is a top class defender. To partner him there is vidic. brown can cover there too both excellent defenders, there is also two great prospects coming through, Evans and pique, Pique who shone in La liga with real zaragoza and Evans with Sunderland. add to this gary neville the most consistent rightback in England for the best part of a decade and evra who came on leaps and bounds last season its hard to find anywhere in that defense to improve on. a replacement for gary neville is needed in a couple of years but he still has a few years in him yet. we also have oshea who is capable of filling in. O Shea blows in midfield Fletcher is one of the most over rated players in the Premiership Park has a nasty injury Richardson blows also and wont be at the club, sold or loaned out again Carrick and Hargreaves are hardly wingers Giggs is old Im just surprised Mourinho didnt get one of them. Ali91 Posted June 1, 2007 Report Share Posted June 1, 2007 Fletcher is one of the most over rated players in the Premiership try underrated. until recently even man united fans werent keen on them but after his performances this season some were even questioning the need for another centre mid. i think hes a great backup centre midfielder and would walk into any team outside the top four.
