2nd place doable this year? We have depth, confidence, a plethora of goals scorers, one of the top managers, one of the top players in MOH and other teams are nothing special.

Edit: And of course Exiles Player of the Year, Mannus!

Well, that second half was a fair bit different from the first half. We were all over them until we scored the 4th. Can't help feeling disappointed that we conceded two goals but, given Hamilton's first-half showing, it's hard to begrudge them scoring a couple.

What a team we have. A brilliant week of tricky away matches.

If TW and MOH don't get the awards for October it will be a disgrace.

Obviously, it will be a disgrace.

Who cares? Seriously who gives a flying **** if they ignore us? I hope they do, we are a crap wee team in a place no one cares about.

Lets keep doing what we have been doing and let our results do the talking.

I don't think Cosy will let anyone on the BBC forget about us if we jump in to 2nd place and that is seriously possible.

What a great week of results. 2 away wins and into the cup semi-final. Also up into 4th place. Fabulous, well done Tommy and the boys. Large G n T's all round tonight in the Shaky household!!

If you were listening to Stuart and Tam earlier today you would know it is G's n T not G n T's

4-2 probably a fairer scoreline than 4-0 would've been, as I'm not convinced there was that much difference between the sides.

Our attack won us the game, as they ran riot, especially in the second half. Cummins probably had one of his poorer games all round, but got his two goals and by the end was causing mayhem with his runs in behind the defence, while O'Halloran was absolutely electric once he went central, so refreshing to see a player scream for the ball constantly then just drive straight at everyone he meets once he gets it. Midfield was steady, as always, with Fisher a surprising starter, he actually performed reasonably well, and probably deserves to keep his place ahead of Lappin, he is absolutely soft as shite in the tackle though. Easton was absolutely superb.

Their two goals were a free kick and penalty, not much could be done.

RandomGuy's comments are a decent summary of the game.  Hamilton are a hard side to beat on that pitch and before the match most of us would have settled for a 4-2 victory. 4-0 was not a true reflection of the game and I see that the stats show that Accies had the majority of possession and attempts on goal were about equal. Having said that, in the second half in particular Saints looked very impressive going forward.

Enjoyed both of this week's games and I don't think we should be unhappy at the number of Saints fans that travelled today, particularly following the game at Greenock on Tuesday.

Think Mannus would contest that, he had several good saves at 0-0 to keep us in it, but as TW will almost certainly say, it was a TEAM performance

What a great day that has been. A tight, physical and very enjoyable FFIT game at the Hibs training complex this morning which ended 2-2 before a drive through to Hamilton  to see the big team score 4 against the Accies and cruise to 3 points and a fourth place spot in the league. Thought we played some  great stuff and the 15 minute spell after half time was magnificent.. Great to see the guys playing so hard for each other. Some top perfomances out there from the back  right through to the front. Thought Clancy the ref was shite and was conned more than once by some cute Accies tactics.  Oh and one final thing....

Huge respect goes to the Hamilton drummer laddie who ( unlike his so called Hamilton Accies supporting pals) stayed and supported his team right to the death. Mind you, his drum seemed to become broken after our second went in..

COYS.
