Indicator
You really have to wonder but... when you've got two English boys I/C the governing bodies who's obvious mandate is to feck Scottish fitba' up as much as they can what do you expect. I'm away tae watch Lincoln v Stevenage shortly. It's sunny bit breezy but no too bad. Good luck at RC the morra night in amongst the ice, snow, winds and pitch black.- beggars belief really.

south inch
Heard a discussion at lunchtime about the suitability of Leeann Dempster for the vacant SFA CEO job. Craig Brown was on saying she is definitely not suitable, seems he found her very difficult to deal with when he was at Motherwell. Confirmed my view that she would be absolutely perfect! HOODLUM65

HOODLUM65
Yes, can only see things getting worse, if that's at all possible. Duncaster's move from SPFL to SFA Chief Executive seems to have worked well. Edited September 6, 2018 by HOODLUM65
HOODLUM65
SPFL clubs have voted for Neil Doncaster and Mike Mulraney to continue as their Reps. on the Scottish F.A. board. (Daily Mail). Ah well, the club's only have themselves to blame. You reap what you sew.

Indicator
It makes one wonder why the SFA went to the trouble of employing a Compliance Officer with a list of qualifications in the legal profession as long as your arm only to then place a barrier/filter in front of her in the form of three anonymous ex-referees who if they decide there is no case to answer will prevent the CO even seeing the incident. Of course it's pure coincidence that it has been two Sevco players, and another one probably returning to Sevco in the near future, who have so far been the beneficiaries of such a setup. Whatever happened to Cynical Saint by the way. HOODLUM65
garydavidson
This is just unbelievable - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45679298 No idea how they expect to have 100,000 footballs fans in Glasgow in one day - two games on one pitch - it is just nuts. Plus demanding Aberdeen magic fans down the road when there isn't even a train available at that time on a Sunday. HOODLUM65
blueheaven
Absolutely flabbergasted that they're doing this. Have they actually given any reason as to why they can't just play the matches on two different weekends?
south inch
Why don't they put the final on at Midnight and get the whole thing out of the way in less than 24 hours?

SFA not interested in how this effects the fans .Only interested in TV money & OF.
sleepless
the Dons match kicks off fourteen minutes before the first train gets into Queen Street station. Ridiculous
TheYellowBox
It's utter utter bollocks to be honest. Aside from the obvious issue of 4 sets of fans that aren't exactly fond of each other all being in the same city on the same day, not to mention crossing paths at train and service station etc, the fact that it now emerges that any game involving the OF is contractually obliged to be played at Hampden is a disgrace. It literally is one set of rules for them and a different one for the rest. The Rangers and Celtic ends at hampden too boils my piss. Do the folk in charge really think this is all acceptable to fans? Massive changes needed. blueheaven
Indicator
But It clearly is acceptable to fans of all clubs... they keep moaning but turn up to matches anyway. It was always going to pan out like this when the establishment club was allowed to cheat liquidation. I can no longer be bothered going through all the whys' and wherefors' The opportunity to consign one of the duopoly to history was missed in 2012. Until fans make the clubs suffer financially (and there is no appetite for that) there will be no move for change. Â Â
