If this isn't rescinded then Rangers do have a point about the system being flawed: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/47313927

I am sure Rangers will issue a press statement about the decision being wrong any minute now.

To be fair it looks like a deliberate elbow to me. Kamara milked it though.

Kamara is in right on top of the goalkeeper trying to restrict his movement, the keeper tries to free his arms as all keepers do and indeed makes contact with Kamara who then collapes as if hit by the proverbial double decker bus.  If that is a red card one must wonder what is the point?

Apparently Kamara has not been rushed to hospital.

I always thought this was how they picked the squad but can't remember a Scotland manager actually saying it out loud before:

"It doesn't matter how good the players are that you bring in - if you get victories together and a set of players who know each other inside out then they get that momentum. That's really important in any tournament, especially in these games coming up."

Ridiculous statement to be making and a crazy way to pick a team.

If they aren't playing well for their club they shouldn't get picked for the country. How can someone get selected based on form from months previously?

Nobody said they hadn’t been playing well plus whose to say the player will fit into the system?

McLeish is supposed to spend his time watching players that are available to play for Scotland. Well those that want to.

There are loads of live football on TV & I am sure SFA pays his SKY subscription so if that's the best we can come up with then we could be in competition with San Marino to avoid bottom spot.

To me most of the players last night appeared disinterested.  Here is yet another break in their club careers where most of them are involved trying to improve their club's end of season position which will impact on wage packets.

And for what?  Who can believe that Scotland can earn a better deal out of this Group than that which we already have thanks to overcoming those footballing superpowers Israel and Albania.
