HOODLUM65
0-2 Poor marking and lack of a challenge allowed Killie player to pick his spot.
HOODLUM65
0-3 Straight ball down the middle and striker outpacned defence to gently lob advancing keeper. H/T. Really poor apart from Thomson ripping the full back for pace.
HOODLUM65
1-3 fine work down the left and great cross to Hunter who finished with a first time shot. Better use of the ball this half & could have been level. Hit the keeper twice. Ball crossed the goal line for Saints lino didn't see it. 1 min. later break up other end and goal for Killie. HOODLUM65
Persistence bursting thru' 3 tackles and a fine finish from Cameron Thomson. Denied a goal and ultimately a draw by the officials, (as said earlier), when the ball "was 2ft over the line". As captured by cameraman at that end of the pitch. Young midfielder/fullback McCann came on at h/t to partner Ando in the centre of defence. A lot of play came from his calmness and intelligent use of the ball. Davidson shot hit the l/h post with keeper beaten,( in the first half). Rebound was too strong for the inrushing O' Reilley who could not make a connection. Otherwise 1st half was a write off. HOODLUM65
Thanks to @HOODLUM65 for the updates on the home U20 games this season. Much appreciated. Your welcome. Under 20's player for the future Ally McCann (age 17 ). Old head on young shoulders, reads the game well, good passer of the ball, made a difference to the team when he came on for the second half at 0-3 down. Not overplayed in the u20's by the coaches, who appear to rotate the team to give a few of the youngsters experience. 2 fixtures remaining, both away. (Dundee United and Dunfermline.) So a victory away to Dundee United at 2pm today at St. Andrews is essential if they are to avoid ending up with the wooden spoon.
