SaintJet
Hope we can come out fighting for this one. No disrespect to Danny but I would park him up for the last few games he is done in Perth and I would rather have young Thomson get shirt than someone who will draw the ire of fans especially those die hards who are home and away fans. This is a draw all day long on my coupon. AthensSaint

But if he dribbles into trouble and continually loses the ball through overrunning it and fails to track back in an effort to recover the situation (especially costing us a goal) he will hear my wrath, like he and the rest of my team. jhq
We should play our strongest team. After Swanson's performance 2 weeks ago, he is part of that team. Thomson is not good enough, much as it pains me to say it. crieffsaintandy, Nelly78 and SaintDougie
RandomGuy
Agree that Swanson should play if he's in the right frame of mind. If he's not then leave him out. Only he and TW will know that though. Personally I'd be bring Clark, Ando and Muzz back in. Clark Foster - Ando - Joe - Easton Alston - Paton - Davidson - Craig Wotherspoon Cummins

jhq
Either way, we can field a very strong team. Hope Muzz is fit though - didn't seem anywhere near it when he came on two weeks ago.

This is a draw all day long on my coupon. I sincerely hope you're kidding. You would rather play Thomson ahead of Swanson against the 2nd best team in the country in a game where even a point can be seen as a victory with securing 4th in mind? I'm sure he's a decent enough lad, but Thomson is not good enough for Premiership football, I'm pretty sure he's struggle in the Championship if I'm entirely honest with my opinion. Considering he looks utterly lost against lower Premiership opposition Aberdeen would chew him up and spit him back out again! Swanson on the other hand, is our best player. Like it or lump it, he was the only one that managed to drag the rest of the team into competing with Aberdeen a couple of weeks ago. To drop him just because a minority (and you are by the way) of fans have got there knickers in a twist because the inevitable has happened and he is moving on is utterly ludicrous. Swanson is still being paid a wage to do a job and therefore should be utilized to do so in our remaining games. As for not awarding the player of the year, The Player of the Year award because some fans are in the cream puff with him? Your opinion is noted and if Swanson is player of the year that's fine with me he played well earlier in the year and this would be deserved. I would however reinforce my point that Swanson's allegiance is to HIbs now and I ain't buying it that he is going to bust a gut in games or risk injury to assist St.Johnstone. He goes with my best wishes as I stated in another thread. As to young Thomson, how come there are so many experts on here who know how a young talented footballer will turn out based on a handful of games? I would play Thomson the rest of the season to let him build up some confidence and let see what he has. We need to be nurturing our young players not continually looking for retreads.
