Dave Ferg
Great bit of chat from Richard about the "Punch & Judy" incident and its aftermath from the Kenny McIntyre programme on Radio Scotland last night. Excellent piece (first 10 or so minutes). http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p051ywp9#play

AthensSaint
I feel the issue has been handed very well by both the club and the players. It is very un St Johnstone like and glad we can reflect on it positively. Dave Ferg

jhq
Was really impressed with him last season. Having to replace Cuptie was never going to be easy but he came in and did a great job for us. However, he was not good yesterday - one pass in particular went astray and set up a good chance for Killie - and wasn't impressive against Trakai or in the Hartlepool game. Really hope he rediscovers his form soon as he can be a great player for us.

I'd be playing Comrie ahead of him to give him a wee wake up call.

Cagey
Watson would be ideal replacement now he is fit Watson is being allowed to go. Comrie is backup right back. Would like to see him play on Tuesday. It may be what Foster needs. PanamaSaint
RandomGuy
Bit of an over reaction this, either that or not Scobbie is gone and Spoony is performing we're simply on the look out for a new fall guy. He completely stifled Jamie Jones, the player Aberdeen are making £250k offers for and who was one of the most productive wingers in the league last season, to the point where he never had a sniff of even getting a decent cross off. He had one shaky moment with a poor header towards his own goal, but I'd say Easton struggled more out of the full backs. Both were perfectly fine though. HOODLUM65
Agree that Eassie was weak yesterday. Seemed incredibly hesitant. Sunday Mail had him in the "Team of the day" Shows what they know.
That Bar Toilet Attendant
I could understand this rubbish if we had lost in the 89th minute due to an error from him. Get a grip & dry your eyes. Stumpy1949
PanamaSaint
There does seem to be a bit of a consistent thread about Foster needing to get et up to speed now the season has started. Maybe being dropped would help him focus.
PanamaSaint
Watson would be ideal replacement now he is fit I get the impression that TW has learned that youth does need a chance. Obviously it was an area in the budget that it was one or the other. Ive nothing against Watson but glad Comrie is the back up for Foster moving forward. Edstar101
Wee dip in form from Foster. He's still a doss defender Watson, unfortunately, will never be 'fit'. He may manage a game or two now and then but will then be injured again Hopefully the lad is already thinking about what he does after football
jhq
As I said in my post, I really hope he rediscovers last season's form - can be a very important player for us.
Edstar101
I'm much happier with Foster at right back, with cover / competition in Comrie than I am with our left back situation PanamaSaint and Cagey
jhq
Yeah I can understand that Ed. Both Foster and Easton are good solid pros though and I'm sure will have more good games than bad over the course of the season.
Center Half
Amy is on a long/Big Tour and living in "Bus" just needs his "Nat King Cole" and he will back to normal so maybe give him Tuesday off and he can live on the bus for a night sorted. jhq, Born2Bru and Edstar101
jhq
Much better from him yesterday and seems to have be building a good understanding with Scougall. Stumpy1949
Edstar101
Much better from him yesterday and seems to have be building a good understanding with Scougall. Agreed. Seemed to have the measure of Lawless, who looked to move deeper and infield to get away from Foster PanamaSaint and jhq
PanamaSaint
I'm much happier with Foster at right back, with cover / competition in Comrie than I am with our left back situation I agree with this. Foster getting better and Easton getting turned left and right as usual. And Tanser doesn't fill me with any sort of confidence as a replacement. jhq
Tanser is still young and hasn't had nearly enough time for anyone to pass judgement.
Cagey
Tanser & Gilchrist have been on the bench for all the games so far which makes me think Gordon & Comrie may be loaned out again . I would have thought they would have got their turn on the bench to keep them involved & feel part of the team.
jhq
Can't see Comrie going out on loan. He's the cover right back.
