Guest ScottMann
The blue side panels seem to be different too - so yeah, it's a new kit. Unusual to have a third kit that's not available to the fans to buy. It's interesting you say that as when I saw a pic of MOH celebrating his goal the blue sections on the sleeve stood out as being different. When I checked back there were blue side bits last season so I just put it down to me basically not really noticing them before and/or MOH wearing long sleeves as opposed to most wearing short last season. blueheaven
There's a good view of the blue panels on the new kit here: Last season's looked like this: I do think the shirts and shorts may still be very slightly different shades of yellow, though. blueheaven
Also, just noticed the Joma logo is different on the new shirts.
Guest ScottMann
Great pics thanks. You're right, there's a big difference in the blue panels. Shirts also a bit lighter than the shorts again in those pics. It's weird as I saw a couple of UEFA cup games on tv last year where the teams wore all yellow Joma and the short/shorts were exactly the same shades. So much for their UK quality control! I had noticed the new Joma logo on Saturday though.
mainstand
The shorts are new aswell note the new charity sponsor - now CHAS instead of air ambulance. As for Uk quality control all kit is made abroad, nothing in UK. Edited August 7, 2017 by mainstand
Cagey
Strange why they didn't just use the yellow as second strip. Was the clash will Killie not noticed & we had to go for another strip ?. Have to assume that the third strip might go on sale at some point.
RandomGuy
The probably didn't release it as a third strip as you'd get four topics on here within an hour about how disgraceful it is to release a top virtually identical to one you had the season before... Good input. I'm sure that's the exact reason why.
Widge
I suspect that Joma have just altered their template kit and the one we used last year isn't available any more, so they've just given us the new version of it. It's pretty much identical and because of new players, sponsors, etc. We couldn't use the ones from last year any more. sjfc99
Last seasons kit, the Emotion was only out for a year. The new yellow one is Champion IV. They could have saved having to get in another strip by getting this as the away kit instead of the white one.

True. But the other solution would just be to release an away kit that does its job properly in the first place. Mind you, it could be dafter - Celtic have gone for three green kits this season.
