Abernethy Saint
We didn't seem to have a thread dedicated to the actual competition yet. Here's a cheery stat from the Daily Sevco to kick things off: apparently, of the 576 clubs entering at the First Qualifying Round stage over the years, a grand total of 6 have made it through to the Group Stages. Rosenberg did it twice. The Daily Sevco ended their article with a wee poll on whether Sevco would be the seventh. Currently 59% of them think they will. Bless. I think it would be pretty rank if we didn't get to the 2nd qualifier, and being seeded there, should really expect to get to the third. Then maybe a big glamour tie and out with a bang? cristo
Four rounds to get through before the group stages, the fourth of which always sees some big teams joining in. Everton and Marseille are two I can immediately think of for this season. I don't honestly think any of our Scottish teams will get past that. I would love to see us up against a team of that calibre all the same, and if it's"out with a bang" then so be it.

PauloPerth
That article states home/away in the first or second leg will be luck of the draw. I was under the impression that the seeded team was at home in the second leg, obviously mistakenly.
Center Half
When we played Rosenberg they were the seeded side yet we played them at home first? When we played Lucerne they were the seeded side yet we played them at home first? I would assume ESES was the same? so I do not think it matters it is the luck of the draw. Center Half
Thanks for the reprimand Shibby! I would have thought that is was more a error in my grammar than my English ? However I have never needed to be good at English grammar since I left school and it has never held back one bit. I also found in life no one likes a smart arse either .
