Templar Saint
Looking at the fixtures for all teams published in yesterday's paper, 4 home games to last seasons top 3 is not too bad and the same as Killie, hibs and hearts. We should pick up more against the big 3 post split. I remember Thistle complaining last season their fixture allocation and affect on revenue being a disadvantage. While it should even itself out over a 2 year period that is not how teams are judged and the distribution of games is just not a level playing field. Dundee, Hamilton, Well, Thistle all likely battling it out for survival. Guaranteed income will allow better investment in players in what has become a handicap race. We have 4 home games, sevco twice plus tic and Dons once. Dundee have lost the Dundee derby income and this year have only 3 home games pre split against sevco, tic and Dons. In contrast Well and Thistle have both Guaranteed 6 each at home against last years top 3. Dundee pre split have 6 trips to sevco, tic and Dons. Suspect Hamilton will be bookies favourite for the drop but playing on a plastic pitch with 5 games guaranteed against big 3 plus Jam tarts and well twice at Hamilton might just give them enough of a financial benefit to stay off bottom. County and Hibs both lost a lot of goals and could struggle. Quite fancy us for top 4 again almost impossible to pick auto relegation place but I wish Scottish Football could find a way to avoid the fixture anomalies and provide an even playing field. Even playing field could be achieved by increasing size of league and playing each team home and away. Also would help if games were home one week away the next. Guest ScottMann
The last few years have shown that Scottish football doesn't do even playing fields. .
Abernethy Saint
I blame the groundsmen.

Templar Saint
The away fixture against Hearts on 21st October has been switched to Murrayfield, due to redevelopment at Tynecastle. Maybe it signifies the style of game they are going to play under Jon Daly!! fergiefootball
Abernethy Saint
That'll be one high scoring game. The goals are massive.

RandomGuy
Actually excited for it, love visiting new grounds. It seemed huge when I was there for a concert, be interested to see how many tickets we'd get
dublin saint
Went to their game against aek Athens at murrayfield - no atmosphere
andrew
As I don't like the egg chasing game the only reason I'd go near Murrayfiled is to see the Saints. Be good to see it though but as said above I doubt there'd be much atmosphere.
TheYellowBox
This game will be awesome. We'll never see Saints play there again, so will have a bit of s novalty factor. Less intimidating that Tynecastle, so gives us a bit of an advantage. If ever there is an away game the club/fans should be making a push for (like Dunfermline away) then this is it. Plenty of fans, flags etc. As an aside, have we ever played a team in so many different stadiums? McD, Muirton, Tynecastle, Easter Road, Recreation and now Murryfield..... We play them on the 26 August maybe a good time to face them tired legs & minds also hopefuly dejected after being knocked out. My team in Cyprus have drawn Viktoria Plzen (Czech Republic) v AEK Larnaca (Cyprus)
