George Grieve
I don’t know if Mannus was injured, suspended or dropped; but I think we need to decide who no.1 is and stick to it. Stability starts at the back.

dave mc
Was wondering if the new skipper preferred Zander, and that swung it??
ejksjfc
Although Mannus has done well this season I think Zander is the better keeper overall.

Or Callum,or Clelland for that matter, not sure if you grasp all that it involves tbh,but you know best right enough, sorry
OldPoster
When you lose 4 in 5 you need to try and change something up - it worked as we didn't concede any goals

Just my opinion though.

Our dressing room has consistently been described as together, tight and honest with each other, so I see no reason why a skippers' or senior players' opinion would be discounted, just my opinion though
Main1
TW will for sure consider the opinion of his players and especially his coaches and that advice put mannus in goal to start the season, I personally don't see anything from mannus that would change that now, OK the opinion of his captain will hold weight but enough to drop a player I doubt it. We did keep a clean sheet with the change in keeper but you can hardly say that was down to clark?

I think there was at least a couple of time he ran out and claimed balls that Mannus may not have.
nickyg
For me Zander is a better all round keeper commands his area better as was evident last night and better distribution
sixties saintee
Always seams confident to me, like mannus but Zander should be No 1. Mannum will be away end of season
Dave H
I've got no issues with squad rotation. Both very good keepers. We are lucky. Confident of either Mannus or Clark between the sticks. Rotate every 10 games is fine with me.

We did keep a clean sheet with the change in keeper but you can hardly say that was down to clark? Alan got his chance when Zander, who had started as no 1 in the Europa games, was injured against Sunderland and grabbed it with both hands. TW then had the easy decision to leave him in as no 1 until his form dipped ever so slightly. Great problem for any manager to have!! ex-montrosesaintee
Maybe he feels Zander is better at 125 yard by kicks, and a goal has to come from somewhere. None of our outfield players seem capable of scoring. David123
Cagey
Now we know. Tommy says in courier,Zander kicks the ball further & gives the defence relieve or something to that effect. Now we know why Tommy has them playing hoof ball.
Cagey
Celtic & Aberdeen looking for a goalie . Mannus would do a good job for them & we could maybe be £50k seeing as he will soon be out of contract. PanamaSaint and OldPoster
rik2304
Zander appears to be made of chocolate so having a strong back up is vital.
RandomGuy
Where's this myth Zanders injured a lot come from? Or are folk holding him getting absolutely smashed in a friendly v Sunderland against him?
OldPoster
I would be more than happy to make a quick buck on him - it would get him of the wages and possibly pay for another player

What's all the injuries he's had over the past two seasons? Literally can only remember the one against Sunderland, when he got knocked unconscious, and then on Saturday which he's probably already recovered from.
