Strange how there's no announcement yet, although I have absolutely no idea how long the inspection usually takes
RandomGuy
Kenny Crawford on Twitter speaking to their manager, who said this.. "There's areas of the pitch still sitting with 4 or 5 inches of snow on it. Around about 40 or 50 people here helping, including @St_Johnstone_FC supporters who have travelled from Perth to give s helping hand." fergiefootball
Winter break is an absolute lottery as is trying to predict the scottish weather. Its well nigh impossible...if games are postponed now its going to lead to even more fixture build up? Summer football has to happen. Worst thing is we're going to have to endure another BBC Sportsound Chic-the-Prick rant about summer football.
HOODLUM65
That's crap. Should have put it off yesterday.

Summer footballs schedule would be due to start around now, due to the World Cup and us having two trophies.

Tuesday at 7:45, have to assume that there's huge doubts over it being fine for then aswell, as more snow is expected down there tomorrow and Monday. Think it then gets moved to the next midweek, but not sure if it would be Tuesday or Wednesday.
PauloPerth
Disappointed it's off. Hope it gets the go ahead on Tuesday. Not for summer football. But don't see the point in our winter break when our weather is so unpredictable. We've just had three weeks of reasonable weather where we could have been playing, first week back and it's off due to snow. Hopefully we don't start to see a bit of a build up of fixtures, as we were meant to be playing killie this midweek. 541ntees and Cagey

PauloPerth
So if it's off on Tuesday, does the killie game go ahead? Or is that now definitely off as well?!
fergiefootball
It might have been helpful if saints had given them a loan of their blankets/covers.......Can see this fixture being postponed 2,3 or 4 times tbh.
