A few facts about our Cup opponents.

Current player Sean Higgins played for Saints.(did he only play 6 games?)

Others with Saints connections are Jackie Stewart (managed both clubs)

Ex players Jimmy Harrower and Benny Rooney managed the wee Rovers

Record attendance at Cliftonhill stands at 27,381 in 1936 , which puts them in 18th place of highest attendance of the clubs currently in the leagues.

These record attendances are amazing.

27.381, and now it's an all ticket cup game with a limit of about 1600!!

What happened to the stadium ??

Rovers currently cracking up at Forfar. Two red cards in three minutes, Hopkins and Trouten, both for violent conduct so I take it they'll both miss the cup tie.

Not sure . Doesn't seem to apply in league cup but think Scottish cup is different.

I thought a straight red for violent conduct meant you missed the next game or two no matter the competition but I could well be wrong.

That's what I've always assumed aswell, not sure both of us can be wrong..

Paton is listed as being suspended for "one SPFL league match", whereas Foster is "two senior matches", which suggests violent conduct covers cup games.
