Gas Monkey
I know this has been mentioned in the match thread but I felt it merited a higher profile. Why no minutes silence out of respect to Alex Rennie and his family last night? I was really disappointed by this. akuram
Very poor from saints, lack of respect to a great servant of the club. Next home match please.

55saint
Poor show - both deserved respect/recognition from the present management :-( sixties saintee
Saintdunc
If no respect is shown by the club then the crowd should show appreciation, in the same minute of the game, as their shirt number. Alex Rennie was a number 4 if memory serves, or a half back in old money!
Dave Ferg
Saints will mark this appropriately. Both John and Alex will have their passing marked by the club.
Kilgour
Heartfelt and lengthy obituary in the match programme, but minutes applause would have been well deserved.

A bit late. It had to be done at first home game after passing announced.
Guest ScottMann
Their passing should have been marked, and their goal scoring, defending etc. There is no excuse at all for there not being any pre-kick off acknowledgement of their deaths. It's almost more common than not to have some form of applause/silence with tv games so I doubt BT would have been against it. Surely the teams just come out a couple of minutes earlier prior to the start to allow for it. No black armbands either. Considering Saints had the wrong date on the website for Muir's death announcement for at least 24 hours it's hardly surprising they didn't get it right on the night.
