Mental game. Absolutely delighted MacLean got a final game like that, perfect way to bow out with us.

Absolutely class all over the place. Curtis Main gets a lot of plaudits but he was completely dominated by the back three, Foster and Tanser a constant threat down the wings and the final ball from them was actually decent, Foster especially. Midfield ran the show, Willock looks absolute quality, incredible what a run of games can do for a player, him, Wotherspoon and Muzz were the perfect combination of skill and fight today, all used possession well and all fought for every half ball. Something exciting about Willock just galloping past folk.

Williams could've had a couple tbh, so wasteful in the final third. Second half he was surrounded by four players tight to the touchline and managed to dribble his way out it without ever losing control of the ball, Swanson-esque.

McMillan looks quality too, really excited to see how he does over a season. A few times he managed to peel off defenders at the back post and eventually scored off it.

Ciftci is hilariously bad now. Looks about three stone overweight, which led to an awkward moment when he tried to dive but simply bellyflopped to the floor instead.

Absolutely fantastic performance across the park. Game was even enough for the first 20 mins or so but once we scored we never looked back - could easily have been 6 or 7 (Williams missing his shooting boots). No failures in the team - Macca was superb with some cracking goals, the defence was rock solid and the midfield controlled the game - Spoony looked great through the middle and Matty looks a lot better.

McMillan looked good when he came on - still lacking match sharpness but scored a great goal and Ali McCann didn't put a foot wrong.

Nice....

Ali McCann looks a huge prospect, by the way. 18 years old and he looked as good as anyone on the ball, not flustered at all and willing to fight for things.

Plays a lot like Wotherspoon I think, without the random skills Spoony drops in every so often

Ha ,you've stolen my thunder. Shows how good the rest were when Muzz didnae have to run the show.

Macca was as good as he's always been , despite his recent knockers on here.

The delivery into the box was excellent today.

Though I thought he was M-O-M , the solid defence was the springboard to our success.

Jason Kerr was immense.

First half Main & Shifty were snuffed out & despite adding Bowman to the attack Saints rearguard dominated.

Saint's fans singing to Shifty when he was rolling about feigning injury ,  " When the Saints went up to lift the Scottish Cup , YOU were there".

Absolute CLASS.

Excellent attack minded performance from Saints yesterday. Some really nice football played and some really nice moves which resulted in goals. A bit disappointed for Williams that he didn’t break his duck as his general play merited a goal, but it’ll come if he keeps playing like that.

If that performance yesterday is what we’re to expect going into next season then take my money St Johnstone.

Hopefully that's the sign of things to come.

The last 3 or 4 games we have been playing the the ball on the ground more. We are playing the ball out from the back & holding the ball for attack to get up.

This may be due to the fact & we were virtually safe. Hopefully we don't revert to getting the ball in opposition half as quick as possible next season.
