HOODLUM65
Always appears that black pellets fly off the Hamilton surface when the ball is being cleared, when in contact with the surface. Should be banned or ripped up.

Lang Toon Saintee
We did the same last year shaved the grass down to the roots then put Fertiliser on it.This apparently encourages growth and it's it only takes a few weeks to recover

I doubt all players took part in it. It is more interesting that those who voted on our pitch didn't deem it very far ahead of some pitch that have been torn up. Pretty daft to lump every stadium in together, as it should really be split into leagues. Surprised McDiarmid was as high, though, hopefully the new pitch is better. When you consider there are two really old plastic pitches below us along with Herats and Aberdeen who were heavily criticised this season it is rather poor. PREMIERSHIP TABLE 1. Cagey
Motherwell have turned their pitch round from ploughed field to bowling green. Great what a decent groundsman can do.
rik2304
I thought our pitch held up well this year. Probably so it was nice for Hibs to play on. Cagey

There were a few grumbles towards the end of the season from manager and players that it bobbled a lot.
Guest ScottMann
The only player's opinion about the McDiarmid pitch that matter are Saints. It looks like the pitch has caused problems ever since the undersoil heating went in. We've spent considerable money on it, last season we invested in heat lamps and it's now been ripped up and regrown for next season. Any ongoing issues are being addressed. Obviously having perceived better pitches than us really helped Thistle and County.

Perhaps we play better on poor surfaces as the ball is in the air most of the time.
andy rhodes fancy watch
Our pitch has been disgraceful for the last 5 years. I was on it at the end of last season as well as at the end of the previous 4 seasons. I can honestly say it was like a horse had been running around on it. Fair enough it's at the end of a season but I was genuinely shocked the first time. HOODLUM65
