As so often the case in recent years, an away game to start the season for Saints. We won down there on the opening day last term, thanks to a wonderful O'Halloran goal, but were easily beaten in February. Killie have been incredibly strong under Steve Clarke and will clearly be aiming for the top six but this is a chance for Saints to put down a marker.

I thought the main decision for the manager would be whether he goes with McMillan in a 4-4-2 or Scougall in 4-2-3-1 but the SFA list Richard Foster as being suspended so there is an issue at right back to address too. I hope Liam Gordon keeps his place and no reason to think he shouldn't after his Betfred Cup performances. Jason Kerr hasn't maybe looked so solid but I don't think Anderson will play on artificial turf this season unless really required.

Would take a point to get us off the mark.

Right back is an issue then.

Very little faith in Comrie unfortunately and if Jones can be arsed then he'll rip him to bits imo.

With new attacking players to settle in as well then I'd be happy with a point.

Jones isn't likely to be playing, he's on his way out of Killie.

Although it's not ideal on the plastic I think I'd start Ando to sort out Boyd.

Two nil away win!

Gordon will boss him and put him on his arse

What's up with Ando and plastic pitches? I thought it was just Macca that had the problem.
