Good battling performance against a Well side that seemed more intent on WWE than fitba. Took a while to get going without Zander really being troubled but the last 20 minutes were excellent. Defence was solid despite Joe doing a Terry Butcher impression after getting stitches and Liam Gordon trying to improve his looks by getting kicked in the face. Muzz was back to his best and Drey Wright continues to impress. Only weak links were McMillan who was unlucky to get injured early on and Tony who seemed off the pace. But after recent weeks this was a lot better and Jason's goal was a nice way to round it all off.

Massive 3 points.

You battle, scrap and defend well and you give yourself a chance of nicking something as we did.  Muzz was immense, and the whole team battled well and put a lot more fight into the game.

First half was poor, with Motherwell the better side but from about 10 minutes into the second half onwards we looked better on the ball. Drey Wright got far more involved and started to link up a bit, though we didn't create many clear chances.

Kennedy looked very positive and confident on the ball from the minute he came on, playing centrally seemed to suit him.

Hopefully the late goal will give the whole squad a lift, the players certainly seemed to be buzzing at the end.

A rather turgid affair with Saints looking the more likelier side to break the deadlock.

Mr. Madden has a lot to answer for, either him and/or his assistants are short sighted or are incapable of applying the rules.

Motherwell's roughhouse tactics left 2 Saints players with blood wounds and one having to be subbed in the first half.

Bowman's elbow in the second half, which produced the first yellow card of the afternoon was in the opinion of some ,worthy of a straight red.

'Well's attack never looked like troubling Zander, which was due to the performances of Liam Gordon ( a rock) , Jason Kerr & Muzz who was shielding  the guys behind him.

However for his running, interceptions , leading the Well defence a merry dance and control of the ball, Drey Wright was IMMENSE.

Bobby Madden, least said the better.

Hope we don't get him again, EVER.

WE are suffering for the 3 penalties he awarded us in the past.

C.o.y.s.

Great to get a win and a last minute goal.

Motherwell really is a shithole, they bloomin seats in that stand are crap.

Thought Liam Craig was by far the Saints man of the match today sat in the middle, made himself available all the time and kept the ball moving.

Really don't understand why some of our fans have a downer on Tanser, the boy got stick from them from start to finish.

Think Tanser is more suited to wingback that left back.

We did quite well playing 3 at the back after the split last season and was surprised we hadn't used it this season. Especially as we had a player like Gordon sitting in the stand.

Actually think both foster and tansee are best suited to wing back roles.
