Thought Drey was a stand out

More out of guilt than anything  I voted for Spoony. I was one of many (I think) who cursed when I saw he was playing. Fair play to him I thought he had his best and most confident game for ages.

We thought we signed jewels last season but reckon we got a right diamond in Drey Wright.

Attacking and defending he was superb on Saturday.

Kennedy had his best game for Saints. Put the ball in for Watt's header, hit the bar himself, could have won a penalty, perfect weight on the pass to Tanser ahead of Watt's sitter, the cross before the first goal and obviously scored. Also wasn't afraid to take a hit on high balls, although we can't afford to play as many on Wednesday.

I felt a few had decent games. Full backs good, centre halves were solid.  Drey and Kennedy were lively and Spoony had a good game. Went for Muzz in the end, thought he really dominated in the second half and drove us on.

He might not be the captain, but we are a different team with him in there as it seems to lift everybody.
