Livingston v Saints Wednesday 31 October 2018 League Game 11

Recommended Posts

The all ticket clash of Livi and Saints is on Wednesday night (ticket details are here - none to be available on the night!!).

Strangely a win for Livingston would see them go seven points ahead of us with a game in hand - a scenario I never thought would happen before the end of the first round of games. Seems they have the same mentality that Saints have had through the years with 11 guys fighting for each other.

Shall be cold but hopefully not boring.

Could we get this confirmed. I'm thinking of going but won't know until Wednesday late on.

Your best bet would be to check with the SLO https://twitter.com/sjfc_slo or Livi SLO https://twitter.com/LiviFC_SLO

Saints are certainly selling tickets until 5pm tomorrow http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/news/post/preview-saints-looking-three-straight-wins

Think we have to match up their back three & have Gordons height & strength to deal with their set pieces. Wotherspoon to make way for him hopefully.

Why are you hopeful that a guy that scored on Saturday and generally played very well, drops out?

Out of the players that played on Saturday I think Spoony would be my choice even though he scored his first competitive goal for a while.

This lot work hard, have more than their fair share of luck and have a pitch that resembles the volcanic sand you get in Tenerife.  Not sure how we should approach the game - perhaps follow the old Dave MacKay maxim "just get tore into them"!
