A tough one between Joe, Craig, Kennedy and Watt for me.

Joe and Craig won everything that was put to them and Liam did a power of work keeping the middle of the park clear. Matty Kennedy did a power of running and managed to give us a good out ball a lot of the time.

Watt is very impressive and it is great having such  talent at Saints, a shame he had to do the donkey work last night rather than being able to get into scoring positions.

Going for Kennedy for providing that one moment of composure to get the goal.

Biggest disappointment was Wotherspoon, an absolute passenger when he wasn't giving the ball away.

A solid performance from most, defence stood up well to high balls into the box and all three centre backs doing well. Joe was very dominant in the air.

But it's the skills of Tony Watt that win the award for me. An excellent display of leading the line.

A couple of goals and good performances over the next two games and a Scotland call up incoming....

:D

Back three were virtually faultless. Kerr had one miscue that led to the big Livi chance in the first half but they didn't put a foot wrong otherwise and seamlessly switched to a four with Kerr in midfield to counter the host's own change of shape.

Tanser got up and down the line all night, offering a good attacking threat and stood up to a physical test.

But I can't look past Tony Watt, who looked a top quality player with his performance, the best he's had for Saints IMO. Took the ball in against strong defenders and wasn't afraid to take them on either. A really exciting performance from him.

Amazing that after15 or so games Scougall is level with Muzz & above Spoony.
