Racism in football

Utterly disgusting and vile events of late.

Last week Scott Sinclair and Aubameyang.

This week a collection of Hearts "fans" shout abuse at Mbula and Sterling suffers abuse from Chelsea fans last night.

In 2018 We still have morons shouting vile abuse at a footballer because of his skin colour.

Appalling.

Hrrrrrm what could possibly be stirring up racism and xenophobia in this country?

Absolutely shocking to hear people shouting racist abuse but since the leave campaign and the home office legitimised telling people to go home it has been open season. Repealing the flawed offensive behaviour at football act has also let the knuckle draggers believe they can say anything and get away with it.

Let us hope no stupid individual will tarnish our club as it is bad enough that people in Scotland have done it already.

Totally agree with this. Really worrying that this seems to be on the way back, and hard to imagine it could be a coincidence that it's happening at the same time as the current political situation.

Just goes to show that stuff like this never truly goes away and the work of groups like Kick It Out etc is never finished.

I see SFA are considering a years ban for a racist player.

How do they prove it 100%.

Logan & Gardyne & others were accused of it but not proven.

Do we get to the stage ,like players feigning injury to get a player sent off. Will we get more players accusing fellow professionals of racial slurs to get them banned.
