Good performance and result for Saints. Far more typical in terms of  fight and organisation than recent matches.

Could have nicked it on the break as well and wouldn’t have been undeserved.

No let downs, whole team played well.

Rangers fans booing the ref and shouting for a foul at every challenge was hilarious!

Well played Saints

The sad thing is they are used to getting fouls when an opponent goes within a yard of them.

If you're stuck indoors on a Sat. night looking for something to cheer you up , type in Bears Den & read Sevco fans opinions.

"Kidding ourselves on".

"Signing old cu*nts".

"We are boring to watch".

Buenoz "Wes Fodringham was MOM".

Reply:- "Fair shout-but the fact it took an excellent performance from Wes to STOP shitty St.Johnstone from beating us is truly fu*king depressing tbh".

Hope for some Saints fans yet after recent comments.

Well done today Saints.

"Their players are probably going away thinking 'I'm as good as the Rangers players, I could play for Rangers no problem'," Gerrard told Rangers TV.

"Credit to them, their game-plan worked, ours didn't. And they could have been going away with more than they got."

I guess we are now part of the Conspiracy, F#####g morons

Place was half empty after 75 mins, they were there for the taking as they are bang average, just a pity Joes header and Blair’s lob didn’t go in, but still a good point after the last few weeks.

McLean gave them most of the decisions, stonewaller in the first few minutes and Kane manhandled constantly and no foul, but just touch them and foul given.

defence looked back to its best today, Kennedy looked sharper, Tanser just lacked a bit of composure as got in to good positions a few times and had time to get better crosses in instead of rushing and over hitting, but that’s being picky, next up that other shower of overhyped bottlers the reds.

So there are a few Sevco players that would be an upgrade for Saints IMO, but maybe not great value compared to wage demands. Would love Morelos's goals but Tommy wouldn't stand for the rest of his nonsense. Ryan Jack maybe. Tavernier. Middleton, Kent?

Point being that man-for-man they have a slight quality advantage but it's not the same gap as with Celtic, and we have a far more competent manager in terms of tactical and man-management ability. As others have said based on the 1-2 in Perth and the 0-0 yesterday, 2 teams not far off the same level now, we should not be expecting to come away with nothing when we play them.

Hibs game on the 27th is going to be huge for us for making the top 6. Outside of that there's 21 points up for grabs with the only 'big' team we have to play being Aberdeen. Won't be easy as Motherwell and Dundee both seem to have turned a corner but we should be looking for, what .. 15? Hibs have got a harder run in than us but they've got he post-Lennon bounce.

Going to be tight, season starts here.

In previous season this has been the points tally for 7th, after 33 games...

17/18 - 38pts

16/17 - 35pts

15/16 - 41pts

14/15 - 43pts

13/14 - 34pts

So, on average, you need around 39 points to finish above 7th.

So you can see how one off this season has been, since we've already got 38.

Really hard to predict how things will go, but if we could beat Motherwell and Hibs, we'd stand a decent chance.

I'd say that if we can get 6 points from those 2 it would he hard to see us not finishing 6th, although that's tempting fate.

Hibs play on Friday and could put pressure on us by going 6th before we play Aberdeen. Bookies have Hibs are 5/6 on to win, I'm not so sure.

Hopefully the chaps from up the river will do us a favour, they seem to have their tails up.

Looks like Motherwell are going 2 points behind us now.

I feel 9 points will be enough  to secure top 6. Motherwell have a pretty tough run in to end of season now. We have Aberdeen, hibs, Dundee and st Mirren at home. Play with the intensity we did on Saturday and we should achieve this. Hopefully Zanders injury isn't too bad but Bell is decent replacement if need be. Just need to get back to scoring. One thing that worries me at the moment.
