Only leaves 2 midweeks then I think before the split

May have to be 10th of April as we can't play it next midweek.

2weeks without a game. We will even rustier for Motherwell game.

We've next to no chance of the top six regardless, so what does it matter?,

The seasons died the day we lost to ten man Hibs.

Can’t believe some folk are moaning not here but on other sites.

Already an accident on the M8, weather certainly not conducive to playing good football, we need all the help we can get, and a soggy pitch certainly won’t do that.

Think we should use the free Saturday to get Zander fit and push on from our next game.

Maybe an age thing but I was not disappointed at all at the game being called off!

Tommy just been on the radio - talking about playing midweek before the Well game because Midden have players on international duty.

Assume he was talking about NOT playing..

How did you guess it was the raging bull himself.  a case of engaging your fingers without connecting to the brain.

Black road all the way from the Highlands this morning although it looked worse in Perth with a lot of lying water. Safely back up the road and watching the rugger (not going well).

3 of us set off at 1130 and got South of Aviemore when we heard the game was off. Nice breakfast at Newtonmore truck stop though.

Also tried to gee myself up with the rugby but turned off at 19-0. Ah well.

No chance now after today’s results, but three points behind after the Hibs defeat the season hardly died as their was 15 points still to play for, but certainly we have certainly made a right arse of it since the new year and will probably  effect his budget for next season.

Sure have.

We now need to play a team with next season in mind.

Really depressing.

Psychologically, the Hibs defeat was the end of our chances, in my opinion.

The manager has been here long enough now that his budget reflecting his performance is fair enough. This collapse will cost the club around £150,000 to £200,000 in prize money and instead of facing Rangers and Hearts at home, we'll have Hamilton and Livingston. That's 400 fans instead of 6,000 fans (and the appropriate pricing structure). That could be close to another six figures.

Saints won't have budgeted for that £300,000 - unless there has been a drastic change in policy - but it's the sort of money that offsets losses and allows the club to make the sort of investment they appeared to last summer. It also makes it harder to reject offers for a player like Jason Kerr, if his sale now balances the books.

The manager can talk about points totals or whatever but to miss out from where we were in January is pretty dreadful.

Was disappointed to hear Richard Foster still attributing it all to the Celtic games. That's a valid excuse at the time and for the Accies game but we went to Ibrox and drew 0-0. The Aberdeen game wasn't the end of the world but the manner of the defeats to Hibs and Livingston are about as poor as we've had under Tommy Wright.

Hopefully we'll actually benefit from a break for a change.

Our season finished when we went to Tynecastle with no attention to win against a team that had not been on a great run. Played a formation that confused everyone including the players.

Wright tends to play the name rather that the team.

Probably was, proverbial six pointer, but a missed opportunity the second half of the season as could have been challenging for Europe instead of some crap bottom six games, also income hit being down there with smaller crowds.

play the diddees twice though, chance to get them down with the other mob from through there.

Nae diddies means more West Coast crap.  Give the Scumdee points to keep them up and at least gives a half decent crowd for games next year and 9 points towards again being the top team in tayside.

In fact hope the arabs come back up so we can hump them again and again

Agree entirely. I cannot understand anyone who wants our closest rivals to be relegated just so as we can laugh at them. Look at the crowd we took to Dens at new year. The atmosphere at these games is second to none, get Hamilton and St Mirren down and Arabs back up via the play offs.

That's your opinion and good on you, but my opinion if not good enough over the season dont deserve to be there regardless if we miss out on this fixture. Bit like when sevco weren't there who cares.
