RandomGuy
If we win on Saturday, and theres anything other than a Hibs win against Motherwell, then we'll be two points off 6th going into the match against Motherwell. Papa Jack
I've not given up on it just yet but a win tomorrow is a must. No way we make top 6 if we draw/lose. If Motherwell don't get 6 points from their next 2 games, I think their last 2 games are too tough for them to get enough points Livingston are just too far behind with some hard games especially with their tricky 2nd game on your list. I'll say Hibs, with us and Motherwell a couple of points behind.
Radford 72
Needs a poll! I vote Motherwell. I don't think they'll end up far off 50 points before the split. If Saints get 4 points, they'll be doing well in current form.

I'd add a poll but WAP doesn't let me edit old posts, so cant edit the OP. Don't know if your Mod powers can do it?
Valentino Bolognese
I went Hibs but it's really pretty open. Quite exciting for a change, but given where we were in January it shouldn't be as exciting as it is. Hopefully a half decent crowd tomorrow although the weather is looking grim. garydavidson
In previous seasons I would have had confidence in us making top six with the games each team has. The issue for me is that in previous seasons if we went 1 - 0 up we would get three points, just can't see how we are going to catch up on the gap we have made for ourselves. slf
Hardly a race.we have hardly moved off the starting blocks.a wee blip of a spurt then back to snails pace.

Still an outside chance if we win tomorrow and Hibs don't. To think if we'd held on and beaten 10 man Hibs a couple of weeks ago we'd be 2 points above them right now and sitting 6th. That really was a significant result for both teams. Still have a bit of hope, but got to get 3 points tomorrow or it's not happening. Difficult to see on current form, but st Mirren are bottom of the league for a reason.
541ntees
We have the easiest run in but our form is so bad I can’t see us beating anyone, living too far behind hate to say it but looks like Hibs might just edge it as their run in is tough but well looks the hardest Cagey

Dave H
I think we have a fight on to finish 8th. Wouldnt be surprised to see us 9th come end of season. Not enough confidence in the team just now. Shaky defence. Edited March 16, 2019 by Dave H
garydavidson
Hibs 2 up so doesn't look like we will be catch them. Now to chase Motherwell and Livingston!
Cagey
Not a good day for us. Results not gone our way.
RandomGuy
Next to no chance of overhauling Hibernian now, seven points behind with twelve to play for.
Cagey
Hibs have the easiest set of games not catching them. We have to aim for 7th now for the money which rules out building for next season.. Even if we were to build for next season, apart from Gordon & Hendry not sure if there is anyone else to come in. Midfield is the problem . You can shuffle that pack but there is little there.

But we all know that would have read us on 41 points and a goal difference corrected to 0, if our game wasn't called off cos of weather. So 4 points and a worse goal difference to chase.. effectively 5 behind. Edited March 16, 2019 by Dave H
mainstand
Can you count out hearts or with today's results are they not dragged into the fight aswell??
ejksjfc
If we win our 4 games we will still have a good shout for top 6. Hearts can still be caught and both Hearts and Hibs have harder games than us. Of course as we are playing shit just now but win our game in hand against the fakes and we are safe from automatic relegation.
Johnny B
I believe we can still make the top six if we win the 3 remaining games. The only thing that may stop us is our goal difference as this gives Hibs an extra point.
RandomGuy
Livingston drop put of contention, 7 points behind Hibs with 9 to play for isnt something they can overcome. Added in Hearts in due to their run of games... garydavidson
Not a chance we will be winning three of our games if the performance doesn't pick up. It usually sounds bad when posters on here mention it but even Tommy wasn't impressed. Radford 72
Cagey
Got to hope for a Livi win on Friday or at least a draw for us to have any chance of top 6.
Abernethy Saint
I’ve never been that fond of the league split thing, but got to admit we would have feck all to play for or turn up and watch this year without it.
