Looking at the tables, we should let Forfar beat us. Potentially that knocks United out the cup and potentially Dundee if they don't get a win v ICT on Saturday.

Do we play for ourselves or put both Dundee clubs out the cup as 4 of the best runners ups?

Definitely not.

We have the first league game to prepare for. Tommy has to put out his best team. The one that will start at Celtic and have every player playing for the right to be in the starting lineup in that game. This also means no subs on just to give them a run out.

As much as I wood like to see them out of the cup it should not be at the cost of our preparation for the first league game.

No,couldn't give a shit about the lower league clubs. I want a morale boosting win by the players that will more or less be playing at Park head.

Celtic game could be carnage

Our back five includes our second choice keeper and right back, and also a centre back who's had one training session and who only met his team mates 24 hours ago.

Calm down.

Losing like winning for players becomes habit & in turns affects confidence either positively or negatively. As for fans, losing habitually allows anger to grow before eventually giving way to apathy. Pretty much the story for Dundee last season & will be ours as well if we don’t address our current form

Vihmann is an international centre back. He should be able to come in and play in any side.

Then he shouldn't have been picked until he did or at least had more time to become familiarised. Desperation stuff by our legendary coach.

Why?

This game means nothing, it's a friendly at best for us. Get him in and used to the team/Scottish football when theres nothing at risk.

Yeah, I had forgotten that it was a friendly at best. That's why this team was selected, and why little Nothcott is on. Our last competitive game before Celtic and this will not be our lineup...........surely!
