Summary

two diff teams basically played 45 mins each

st.johnstone just edged it as the better team

the second half team was more impressive

hendry impressed

of the trialists no 5 looks a find. A real presence at centre back - looks like a rugby prop! Nearly scored a thunderous screamer at the end from about 30 yards!

No 14 looked ok on left wing see what you think of him v Linfield

not many chances for the striker no 24 first half , except for the goal which was scruffy.

def defender looks promising - any ideas ?black player ? Big presence ? From his shouts sounded foreign ?

Three of the trialists played and named. I wonder if the fourth one will be unleashed today or maybe he's not shown up too well.

The fourth trialist is a young goalkeeper who'd be third choice back-up if Ross Sinclair goes out on loan. Wouldn't be too surprised if he doesn't play a part in friendlies and Tommy makes a judgement based purely on what he sees in training.

Ok. I'd just never seen anything about him mentioned. Thanks.
