Cumbo
Yesterday Jeanfield entered the William Hill Scottish Cup for the first time. We were drawn away to Coldstream in the first preliminary round to be played on Saturday 10 August. The draw was also made for the second round and the winners of our tie will be at home to Linlithgow Rose or Preston Athletic with a place in Round 1 at stake. Oh wait it would be the same reporter giving info to all 3 papers or maybe even staff of home team. Tranmere Saintee
Cagey
Jean field in the Scottish cup doesn't sound right but good. Another home tir if they get through against Linlithgow. Seemed funny watching SC draw with Jeanfield in it.
Cumbo
Its one if the reasons we made the move from the juniors and become a licenced club. Massive game this Saturday at the Riverside. With it being international weekend why not head in down and back the Swifts as they aim for the first round proper. Kick off is at 3pm HOODLUM65
Cumbo
Disappointing result for Swifts losing 5-2 mainly due to a poor first half performance. Not much between the sides but Rose were more clinical in front of goal. Thanks to all who came to back the boys. Hopefully you enjoyed your day despite the result and we hope to see you back at Riverside when Saints are away or not playing. HOODLUM65
What's the latest on the player who was injured and play was held up for approx. 50mins till an ambulance crew arrived to attend to him on the pitch? Wish him a speedy recovery.

blueheaven
What was the crowd like compared to normal? A decent increase?
Cumbo
Crowd was officially 340 but it was nearer 500 due to committee members, other teams and kids who got in for free. Normally we average 100 for a home game. blueheaven and south inch
blueheaven
That's excellent. Has the club thought of maybe offering a discount to Saints season ticket holders on days when Saints aren't playing? My local non-league club down in London sometimes does deals on international weekends where season ticket holders from any other club can get money off at the gate, and I believe it's been really effective in the past. south inch
