Held over 90 mins by Dunfermline. Hope they were playing their reserve team as it makes the 7-0 look even worse.

Apart from Forrest not starting looked pretty well full strength.  Wee Neil's jacket nail even more shoogjy.  A skelping from Sevco at the end of the month and it could be P45 time.

Fair play to Dunfermline, defended well, apparently they didnt have many chances but managed to hold them for 90 mins which is a huge achievement. We always seem to get Celtic when they are high in confidence and scoring every chance, never get them on an off day.

Or Dunfermline might be better than us.

I watched the game they had a plan and stuck to it, a back 4, a midfield 5 and loan striker. When possible they defended just outside  and their 18 yrd box trying not to go into it and making Celtic shoot from distance. When the keeper kicked it out he did it quickly, it was not down the middle for the centre backs to eat them up, it was into a corner flag for the striker to chase down. It was not pretty but it was effective. Food for thought

Quite possibly, their team is probably quite settled/organised and ready for the season where as Saints dont seem to be.  Then I think back to games like last season when Scott Brown scored against us.
