Yep he got them mixed up. He has a habit of doing that in games. Vine and Craig against dundee Tada and Hasselbank at Parkhead

Would be a signal that Liam was off probably.

rik2304
Or Muzz Indeed. Could actually do with someone like Brittain, hes got a rep for being a bit of a deadball specialist. Id be pretty pleased if this went through, signals a bit of preparation should bodies be leaving.

If he was lined up to go there, then that might work in our favour as he may pull out of the move based on the above

Now not any sort of guarantee but looks as if he could be staying.

As a player, anybody who signs now may soon find themselves in a team picked by somebody that didn't sign them and they will not have had long enough to prove themselves at the club or to the supporters, making it easier for the new manager to disregard them if that is his choice Edited January 5, 2013 by Edstar101

Doesn't always work that way though John. There can be no accounting for decisions that managers make sometimes. A players face, regardless of their ability, just sometimes doesn't fit with a manager....

A players face, regardless of their ability, just sometimes doesn't fit with a manager.... Wouldnt worry about that too much -Looks as if SB is hoping that several players will leave Saints sooner than later in order to balance the books -which are not as healthy as some predicted -It looks as if Saints are heading downwards (financially) mainly due to the current wage Bill and what appears to be a lack of interest in supporting the club as it currently stand with a pricing structure that is not suited to everyone is this current climate. There is no Big Investment coming into this club and that seems to be a fact -folk cannot afford to go and Saints (SB and Co) obviously dont have the "bottomless pit" to keep the club as it is -
Center Half
Do not think much has changed in that we are still trying to balance the books as far wages etc are concerned as of 10 years ago i think it is good Steve talks/knows about it and deals with it as did his father. we do have a rainy day account that has been dipped into the last three years and we can not go on this way agreed. However we have also been near where a further place up the league / extra round in a cup may have about broken even in those years where as others have not been anywhere near balacing the books even the biggest supported team who also tried to not pay their dues still went down . If we need to go back to part time football then so be it , i would suggest we are no different to any other clubs in the SPL. Also players are going to be ten to a penny in the future again, even the big money earners in engerland will find this out. 10k a week for medicore reserve standard player or £500 per week for mabey a Steven Dorris plus bonus when you play. Big Terry Butcher has already sussed this out by the way,
dave mc
If we lose a couple,ie Liam and Muzz, been hearing good things about Fouad Bachirou at Morton, anyone watched him?Plays centre midfield and seemingly a decent playmaker. Linky
Unless anyone leaves, I don't think we need - nor can we afford - any new signings this transfers window. We need to focus on getting signed up those whose contracts are running out (which appears to be most of the first team), and signing up players on pre-contract agreements for next season. john1962
