Player contracts and transfers

I liked Foster as a player and think we'll be weaker without him (pending replacement obvs), but its the right decision if thats true.

Hes already been disciplined for the club for a lack of professionalism, so to have a go at your manager during training is just bizarre, especially from an experienced player.

He's far to old to behave like he does.

Moron.

This is the disappointing thing.

For the sake of it, the rumour was the players done some form of session during training, due to a lack of effort during it from some players, TW ordered them all to do it again. Foster took exception as he wasn't one of those guilty of a lack of effort, and made his feelings clear.

But thats just a rumour, the official story above just says he "verbally abused Tommy Wright".

No rumour that is what happened.

Seemingly he was sent to managers office where he told Tommy where to go in no uncertain terms, so was told to stay away subject to disciplinary procedure taking place.

That's the problem, us mere mortals would toe the line or have a reasoned debate but old Richard is in a position where he can do what he likes because I would assume his wage is pocket money, and let's be honest he's never a short of an opinion on the pitch.

Depending who (if anyone) we get to replace Foster we might be weaker on paper but our success in the past has been built on teamwork and this is at least the 3rd offence, certainly the 3rd that is public.

If he did loose the rag at being asked to do a drill again the correct vice captain's response would be to go out and do it again and encourage the rest of the team to get the finger out.

Foster is a pretty good player for us but if he's becoming that disruptive then Tommy has no choice. Hope he wakes up and sorts himself out off the back of this.

As a side note I hope that some members of the team ****ing about during training is a one off and not a regular occurrence.

Considering we’ve taken this long to find a striker, can’t see that we’ll get a replacement for Foster before the end of the window. I think we’ll get May this week, but don’t expect anything else.

Do Killie really want a 34 year old right back with a history of bad attitude? Surely he’s just going to be another drain on the wage bill.

I think Killie are losing Greg Taylor to Celtic (£3mil quoted) could be for cover.
