fergiefootball
I think there's a fair chance we could see the rest all sign up now, except McCracken and maybe Robertson. We'd have a pretty full squad after that. We need a left sided midfielder and maybe another specialist centre back, but I don't think we're really far short anywhere else.yes I agree think cos lots of players have been on hols its been slow but should be clearer now..think we will get Easton or macallister ,not sure if we need another centre back as we have players who can cover ie scobbie and cuptie. We did well last year with these players im happy if we keep the nucleus here..millers a handy player to have aswell...robbos abit injury prone. ajs
David Robertson is a great player to have around the club, he is bouncy and gave 100% every time i have seen him play, he actually looked quite confident and talented just before he got his nasty injury, very good impact sub as well. You rate bounciness as a key attribute? I can see why we got rid of Jamie Adams now, he wasn't bouncy at all. fergiefootball

RandomGuy
According to a Hibs fan on Pie and Bovril who's generally quite good with these rumours (despite the hounding I sometimes give him) David Wotherspoon is currently viewing offers from us and Rangers, and will sign for one of us

AthensSaint
how can hearts be signing players ?? thought they were on the brink ? ============ Danny Wilson is a magnificent signing for Hearts, wish he had come to Perth instead. They seem to be boxing clever on the re-signingf front...both Granny Danger and the Sex offender been given their books.
john1962
how can hearts be signing players ?? thought they were on the brink ? Reported this morning that they need to pay a tax bill of £100K within the week or they will go "bust".

Dylan-Saints
Rumours in Perth of Adebayo Akinfenwa being close to signing for St Johnstone - would not want to be an SPL centre back next season! Edstar101

ex-montrosesaintee
Just googled him - crikey, does he count as two players? Consistently scored goals throughout his career too.
BAM
Is he not a bit of a man mountain who basically doesn't get out the opponents penalty area? Yeah, can score goals but fitness surely a huge issue - he was even left out the play-off final the other week!
Stone Cold Saint
This would be a great signing, we've been crying out for a linebacker. garydavidson

Yeah, can score goals but fitness surely a huge issue - he was even left out the play-off final the other week! A guy like that feeding off MacLean would be superb for us though. And then there is the ball falling to the likes of Nige when he rumbles up the opposition defence
BAM
So is he a replacement for Tade, if true? Whatever way you look at it, it's a bit of a kick in the stanes for Stevie May.

rik2304
Could be a great signing. But I am dubious if we could afford him.
ex-montrosesaintee
Out of contract from a league 2 club, 31 years old, ambitions to play in the premier league/championship, chance to play in the Europa League for the third best team in Scotland, and the TV coverage that will come with it. Quite a good move for him I'd say. Given that it looks like Tade and Vine might not be here next year, I fail to see how it would be a bank breaker. My only concern is just how much I'd love to see Nigel, May and MacLean get a decent run in the first team together.
Kyle
So is he a replacement for Tade, if true? Whatever way you look at it, it's a bit of a kick in the stanes for Stevie May. I wouldn't say so. At the moment we've only really got 2 signed strikers, 3 if you count Hasselbaink. If Tade and Vine both leave, we'll need to sign at least 1 replacement, unless of course Easton has been signed for that purpose too. MrBored
Not for me...not mobile enough and scoring goals in the English lower leagues doesn't mean much. Personally, I'd keep Tade and Vine before I signed that bloke.
