cristo
Abeid is indeed out of contract but we'd have no chance of signing him. Leeds were interested in January and may go back in for him, although I'd imagine now he's a free agent there'll be loads of clubs interested. Kinnoull Kicker
Agree if Leeds keen then no chance. No idea what he was earning but if his expectation has dropped if he has been released by a bottom tier French League 1 team ( as opposed to him refusing to sign a contract extension) then why not at least ask the question at the top end of our salary scale? RandomGuy
We couldn't come close to affording Abeid when he was a no hope Newcastle youth player who was being loaned out, clueless how you think we could afford him now hes a fully grown senior pro with games in the top tier of England and France. At Dijon he apparently earned £51k a month.

Of course he is likely to be out of our league - but there are many players with so-called great pedigrees who drop levels and salaries - though probably not this one sadly. garydavidson
With Livi saying there was a fair bit of interest in Liam Kelly from the Championship I wonder if Saints have had the same for Zander? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48519001

I know which one I'd enquire about.
Linky
I think Livi could be in trouble next season. Their squad is being picked up one by one by other clubs, and they aren't going to be able to recruit the same quality.

Guest ScottMann
Kelly's meant to be going to QPR. After Les Ferdinand's visit earlier in the season I wonder if they were choosing between Zander and Kelly and have gone with the Livi guy. Dundee are also charging more for a standard adult season ticket than any Premiership club outside the Old Firm. I'm very much looking forward to their next spell in administration. How many times will that be now.
Johnny B
Hamilton have signed their second player from St Johnstone this summer with the capture of midfielder Blair Alston. The 27-year-old follows Brian Easton in moving to New Douglas Park. The former Falkirk player spent three years with Saints, and scored four goals in 26 appearances last season, but was not offered a new contract.
