That would be a line-up with over half the starters having come through the youth system. Wonder when the last time this happened?

May's debut springs to mind as the really obvious answer, but I've not checked. I just remember a lot of youngsters playing that day.

Clark

Duffy- Kerr- Gordon- Tanser

MOH- Davidson- Craig- Kennedy

Kane- May

Think McCann could be overpowered by the Killie pairing so would rather have Craig in there for this one. Possibly a bit cruel to leave him out (going off the reports at Hibs which I didn't attend)

Think May could well benefit from having Kane doing the donkey work behind him and I think the advantages of Kane's link up play will become more apparent when we have a striker looking to get into the box and taking some attention away from Kane's own movement.

Kerr and Gordon need time to develop the partnership. Want to hear them both be very vocal and take the lead in a very young defence.

Killie fans reckon theres a chance Dicker will be at CB, so their midfield will be weaker.

From your team I'd be swapping McCann in for Craig, and Spoony in for Kane...

Would think it will be pretty much this team. Depends on how match fit Tommy thinks May is. If not, then maybe MOH sitting just behind Kane and Spoony in the team on the right giving Duffy a bit of cover.

That side, bar Duffy and Kennedy have all either come through the youths or developed at the club in that they came as young players.

Throw in that if Gordon, Spoony and May all play, we'd have a fair chunk of our team born in Perth. When would be the last time we had 3 Perth born players in the same 11?

Like the idea of 2 up front, or Kennedy off May, but it's easy to get carried away because killie have had a poor start to the season.

Their centre midfield is the best in the league outwith the OF, and has dominated ours over the past couple of seasons. I think it'll be a similar team to last week, possibly with May in for Kane.  Not ideal having May as a lone striker, but I would worry we'd hardly get on the ball with just two in the middle.

If it's not Power and Dicker together, then yes 4-4-1-1 with Kennedy off May.

Probably comes across as quite negative, but we've struggled so much against killie for a while now, and I put that mostly down to their superior midfield, that I'm cautious about our set up.  Love the idea of a Saints 3-0 win, but would be surprised as they're usually very tough to score against.

Any kind of Saints win today is a good result to get us up the table especially with a few difficult matches coming up.

Anyone who attended Hibs will tell you that neither McCann or Kane should be dropped.

I think that whole team deserves another chance to start this game. The only players who might be justified for criticism would be Liam Gordon and Liam Craig.

I don’t see Madis Vihmann as the answer so it’s better to preserve with Liam Gordon as he is clearly talented and also Liam Craig’s reverse ball for the first saints goal was vintage stuff.

Spoony or a half fit May don’t deserve to oust anyone from last week.

Given that a few hundred extra are likely to turn up today to see May, Tommy is likely to be lynched if he doesn’t give him at least 20 minutes. I can’t see him starting though unless he has really, really impressed in training.

Nah.

May is our best striker and has been training with Aberdeen, plus playing games for them in pre-season and reserve games.

I dont see why we dont put him straight in.

Going by Tommy’s interview, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him start. Basically said he didn’t go through the whole transfer saga to wait another 2 weeks.

One defender on the bench & only Spoony to be able to help out in that department.
