Stevie May was unreal, almost bagged a hat trick and caused chaos all match. May played superb and the link up with Cane was really good. Ali, good as ever. Disappointing to not get 3 points but lots of positives. We scored a penalty. Wasnt aware we were sharing the Ormond the way we did. Shouldnt be the case if its a "family stand". Hearts looked a different team 1st half so would have gladly taken a point at half time. First half I feared we would really struggle with Naismith running things and Boyce looking dangerous. Second half completely different as we didn't give them time to settle and really took the game by the throat. As much as I am not a Kane fan, he really did a lot of 'donkey' work that allowed others to play. Unlucky not to score in the second half, although he really should have scored in the first. McCann once again was outstanding...pity he didn't score the second chance he had....but he is the first pick in that midfield area. Credit to Craig as well in the second. That's another 2points thrown away added to the 2against County. There have been a few other points thrown away this season. We should really be in top 6. Cagey Posted February 1, 2020 Report Share Posted February 1, 2020 We dropped 2points for 2 reasons. 1 = our goalie is a bomb scare with no confidence. 2=We made a sub with a minute to go ,when we were in total command. If he had subbed Hendry for May we would have won the game but we brought on Butcher who was still telling McCann what he had to do when Hearts went on attack. Booth had a good second half as well. Mind you they all did. McCann & Craig were great the whole game as was Kane.
