Surely from a Saints perspective anything MORE than 3-0 loss would be a 2-0 or 3-1 loss or better. Anyway a good performance today and I for one am a wee bit disappointed to only get a draw. There is no way that that rangers team are any where near title contenders. They are now as much title candidates as we are relegation contenders. No feckin chance of either thankfully. garydavidson

slambrother
Think a point each is pretty fair although had we taken more of our first half chances then we could have been in a much healthier position! At the moment Zander reminds me of Enkleman. Far too often he’s routed to the line and please can somebody ban him from punching the ball. One of his punches today projected the ball a whole foot in front of him and almost cost us dearly! on other day we could have been punished for that Awful short corner too. Just don’t like that option when the pitch is in the state it’s in! apart from these moans a great result and like others have said had we not sat back so much we could have taken all three points garydavidson and Cagey
mainstand
great result in very nice seeing 7000 or so glum faces leave the stadium at the end. Even nicer when they give us £30 for the pleasure Well done Mayzo, Hendry and all the others. I am sure @Cagey might even be a happy bunny after that
Rob
Need to have a performance like that next week to get something out of the game. Great to see our 2 main strikers getting a goal each again.
dunblanemike
I think Zander is getting some unfair stick for today’s performance. He made some important saves at important points in the game, a couple of them were really outstanding. what is it with saints fans, why are we hyper critical of our own players? We should be bigging them up like fans at other clubs do. Doing so among our mates at school, work etc may even generate sufficient excitement to get more bums on seats at home games. Saints now have a collection of very good young talent this year. That was a young squad out there today and were not overrun by the second best team in Scotland. ok, mini rant over...... mainstand, Stumpy1949, SaintJet and 1 other

garydavidson
Is it just me or is that second Rangers goal exactly the kind of goal we lose to the old firm every single time? A low cross to someone who has gotten away from their marker.

Abernethy Saint
Never understood why clubs do this. Imagine if the prison population was recorded as “criminals we caught plus the ones we didn’t catch but should have”. Train companies counted the people on the train, plus the ones who slept in and should have been on the train. Election results - yeah, he got more votes but she’s the MP because there were definitely people who could have voted for her even though they didn’t. Some of those season ticket holders will actually, very sadly, be dead. Saints see dead people......
